Why Casey Anthony?

Geez, been so caught up in that godawful thread, didn't even notice this one had started.

One thing different about this case is that after 3 years, there is still no real answer to why or how this happened. This woman continues to lie. Her ability to lie and never break is what got me started on this case. I never followed Nancy Grace or the other shows. I just read it through newspapers and did my own research.

All those other cases you mentioned, happened and were resolved, somehow. Somewhere along the way we knew what happened and the cases were over rather quickly. Not this case. Its still in the air, even 3 years later. Its still this young woman stone faced. I guess I keep watching to see if someone, someday, we will know an answer.

In all honesty, no matter how white or pretty Casey is, CAYLEE is the reason I watch and research and why I became so involved. It doesn't matter that I don't know her personally, but for 3 years I have hoped for justice for CAYLEE.

I guarantee that is the reason why most people watch as well.

I'm not saying that people questioning the attention this case gets don't want justice, I'm just giving my simple, basic and heartfelt reason why I watch. This picture says it all.

Tawana Brawley? that is a blast from the past. yes she did at the time claim she was raped by6 white men a few that were cops. turns out none of it was true. Al Sharpton was all in the media.

Have you relocated in the last year or so? I know we used to live in the same county?

MY DISing has been sporadic at best for a while. I've been haunting the DLR forums in recent months preparing for a DLR vacation that is now just one week away. I guess my exuberance and impatience has spilled over into browsing the CB as well.

Why has this case gotten so much attention?

1.) Missing for 31 days before being reported missing
2.) Crazy behavior by Casey in those 31 days
3.) George and Cindy's erratic behavior in front of the cameras
4.) Jose Baez appearing on TV every chance he gets.

Race, gender, none of that is why this case is in the headlines.
