On our 7-day Eastern cruise in January, I got to the spa in plenty of time to make our reservations on embarkation day. However, I was told that they do not take reservations for regular massages on sea days. Only "premium" treatments can be booked on sea days. They offered to give me reservations on the St. Thomas day and put us first on a waiting list for massages on a sea day. Unfortunately, we were never called on either sea day before we got to St. Thomas. I understand that they want to maximize their profits by booking as many high-priced services as possible, but isn't this unreasonable?

Maybe someone who works at the spa AND reads this board could weigh in? OR, if someone is "live" on a cruise right now, would they be willing to ask a supervisor at the spa? Thanks.
