Why can't I see some avatars??

Just wondering.... I can see DIS-supplied avatars like http://disboards.com/images/avatars/Genie.gif and http://disboards.com/images/avatars/wjslinkydog.gif

But I see a red x for others like http://disboards.com/avatar.php?userid=1423&dateline=990282730 and http://disboards.com/avatar.php?userid=31320&dateline=1021383013

I pasted one of the last two into the address line and got "This page cannot be displayed"

Any idea why?

<font color=navy>I think some of those pages aren't online right now. Once they are "found" and put online, then we'll be able to see the avatars.

I can see all of the avatars from home, but still get the infamous red X for the second group (user-uploaded) from my office computer. I can't see yours either, MaryJo.

Should I just blame it on our firewall?
