Why Bible is a collection of some letter?

But Jesus did not found our religion - the structure of it. He is in fact the reason for it of course. To a Christian - the reason for everything. But Peter and Paul had free will and structured the doctrine they were inspired to. Thus the answer of why the letters are important.

Well, this opens another can of worms. Although I'm not Christian, this specific can of worms happens to be a little close to my heart. The Christianity -- specifically, as you say, "the structure of it" -- that Peter and Paul were inspired to create, is not the Christianity we know today. A lot of controversy stemmed from the diaspora of belief and practice that followed Peter's and Paul's establishment of the religion, which was brought to a head during the First Council of Nicaea. The fact that such diaspora of belief and practice occurred and that such a council was necessary is important, but perhaps fodder for some other thread. The point, though, is that it is generally accepted that, at least for a while, the bulk of Christian belief and practice was filtered through the lens ground at Nicaea, but that was radically different from the Christian belief and practice of the Church of Peter and Paul.

Is it against the rules here to call somebody a troll? Not that I would call somebody a troll. I would never call anybody a troll. But you know, just in case it ever came up, that somebody was acting just like a troll, by trolling and stuff, I was wondering if it was against the rules to call that troll a troll.

I too am a Christian and follow of Christ. Not a follower of Paul or Peter. But Jesus did not found our religion - the structure of it. He is in fact the reason for it of course. I don't know what you mean by , "our religion",
But I think it is very obvious that The Christian religion, "Christianity" has no given 'structure'.

There are Christians, and Christian organizations, of all types, of all creeds and colors, syles, and languages, and structures, all over the world....

Now, if one wants to comepletely erase the word "Christianity" and insert Roman Catholocism (or some other specific sect)....

Christ did not create and santify any 'religious organization' such as Roman Catholocism.

I'm not sure what the argument is. I don't really think we disagree. Of course he did not sanctify a religious organization. He was really quite anti-religion. I assumed that the OP was asking about Christianity as a religion and why our holy writings consist of so many letters. The letters were meant so that Paul could instruct the church. In fact, he instructed the church on quite a number of things that Christ didn't actually say directly. Paul had to explain it. That gave it "structure". Jesus said some things about "how" but not all that many. Paul filled in the missing pieces for the church - the rest of the "how". Not the "build this building and elect that Bishop", but more broadly how. That, to the point of the OP, is why all the letters. That's all.

BTW, I am a mainline Protestant. I have been a member of several mainline Protestant denominations in my lifetime - in other words - generic Christian.

You have us backward. Wishing on A Star does think that Jesus founded Christianity. I think otherwise - but really the distinction isn't necessarily that important - for I suspect that Wishing on a Star and I agree about most everything else about Christianity as we are both Christians.

As far as telling us to concentrate more on the Bible - strange instruction actually. The reason that "Wish" and I are able to have a conversation like this at all implies that we have done just that.

The early "church" had very little organization or even "rules" like the Catholic Church or Protestant denominations do today. Those institutions - "religion", if you will, didn't come about until later - sometimes much later. Nor did they come about suddenly and in tact.
