Why are so many AKV being ROFRed?

In this quarter's ROFR thread, nearly all ROFRed contracts are at AKV? All in the last couple of weeks. Is this the next place that's going on direct "sale"? Is it related to a refurb?

There was a direct sale on AKV prior to this current incentive. Maybe they are refilling the coffers?

Definitely no, and I doubt it, but who knows.

DVC pretty routinely focuses on specific resorts for ROFR for a while. AKV and OKW seem to be pretty frequent targets if you look back many years.

I think they just sell a lot of those points direct.

It's kind of a weird one and predicting Disney's actions seems difficult. Over the past 12 months the following were the leading "sold out" direct sales:

OKW- 166,245 points
SSR- 103,247 points
AKV- 49,082 points
BLT- 23,439 points

From those numbers you would think Saratoga should be a target too but that doesn't seem to be the case. IIRC they also did a big sale on AKV the prior year, maybe the two combined had them too low?

A few years back DVC rofr'ed a lot of SSR contract also at price points which didn't make sense, so maybe they have "enough" SSR inventory and dont need to rofr just yet.

I'm paying the Closing costs and 2025 dues so hopefully it should get through

$100 I wouldn’t consider that cheap when it comes to ROFR. DVC could take a 300 points contract for much less and split it up in 6 x 50.
