Why are kids so mean!

I pay my 6yo to say that I'm younger than I am. Really. Well, I don't exactly teach him to lie, but just to stretch the truth. I've taught him to say that it's the 6th anniversary of my 39th birthday. So no, not a lie, but it does sound younger than 45, doesn't it? I'm not a cute young thing like you are!

I still tell my youngest that I'm 29, and everyone else This worked well til she learned math and started telling me I couldn't be cause her brother was 14. I should have kept doing what I did with her brothers; tell them I couldn't remember and distract them from asking again
