Why are Heely's so expensive?

I got my son skate shoes last year, they were not Heely's brand, but they did the same thing!! This year they now have them at a dollar store and also at Albertson's which is a food market, for 15 bucks!! If the kid too young for name brand, I would look around, plus walmart has them also, but they have an extra wheel.

We bought a pair last week on sale at Dicks for $29.99. AND for $4.99 more we got the year warranty....she said even if the child outgrows them you can return them for a new pair! That's a pretty good deal.

Btw...our daughter is only allowed to use them with wheels playing in the neighborhood with friends. We don't allow her to wear them with wheels in public, I find that not only unsafe (parking lots), but obnoxious of the kids I've seen them using them in stores, airports and theme parks!

I got some at dickssportinggoods.com for $29.99. I know finishline.com had them for $29.99 too.
The generic shoes are fun but not even close to the same thing.

They are soooooo fun. The deal @ Dicks is great! I hope it is still there when DD outgrows hers.

Olympiasports.net had them on sale on BF for $30 with free shipping. That's over now, unfortunately.

They are, however, still on sale at www.dickssportinggoods.com for $30. Shipping is $8 something, though, but there is a code out there somewhere for 15% off. I got DD's for $34.99 shipped.
