Why are flights so high in the middle of June?

I have been checking flights on Delta for our next trip in June and leaving on a Friday from CVG to MCO is about 100.00 more than all the other Fridays in the month. The Friday and Thursday that is so high is June 16th and 17th. Why so high that week and not the others? Anyone know?
I did end up changing out trip to the next week because of the price that week.
I know I could get cheaper flying out in the middle of the week on a Wednesday but we cannot leave except on a Friday or Thursday. I also know other airlines may have cheaper flights but we want to stick with Delta because we are earning miles for a free flight.

Its the beginning of the busy summer vacation season. Its also the fact that Thur and Fri tend to have higher flight prices verses Tue and Wed. Its Fathers day weekend.

Oh that could be it ! Fathers day weekend! I dont think it being the beginning of summer season or the rest of the Fridays would be high also but Fathers day does make sense.
