Why am I not permitted to vote in polls?

Every time I click on a thread that has a poll, I get the message "You do not have permission to vote in this poll." So, I'm curious, do ALL of you have a secret pack to lock me out of polls?

Honestly, I have no idea what's going on. You might try asking on the tech board, someone there may have an answer for you.

I thought the instructions were in the printed out materials that we get when signing up on the Dis. You know the handbook that came in the mail

Was I suppose to read that users manual? I chunked it out with all the warning notices that came with my appliances. Wonder if I was suppose to read those, too? Oh well!

Back to the homeless house for me....there must be mischief to make over there. But a stop by the Tech Board first, perhaps. I really want to vote lots and lots of times in the polls to try and skew the numbers!

Because we don't like you!!!!! Obviously, I am kidding. I would say contact the tech folks...maybe they can help. I am no computer whiz....I just graduated "Turning On Your Computer 101", so I wouldn't even dream of attempting to figure out why!!!

Could it be because you have chosen to not allow the site to use cookies? Check in your user cp, edit options browse board with cookies and make sure it is checked on yes. Since voting may require the use of cookies (so you can only vote once) this may be your problem.
