I'm not suffering yet! I'm hoping that the trip in March will keep it away for awhile. I hope it's not that much more after that trip though! DD is definitely suffering already! I think she may have started suffering before we even left!

We did also. Were you able to get your chef mickeys pictures on the photopass? I asked there and she told me no. DH wanted to buy them, and I refused saying when I get back I will email disney. I did and have not heard back from them. Wonder if on of those is us!

I'm not depressed yet, I'm hoping it stays away until after our March trip!

I bought the Chef Mickey pics because its a really good picture! I'm not making a stupid face and thats unusual! When you buy the pictures the photopass # is on the reciept. It's kind of crummy that they do that! We went to Akerhaus and the photo they took was part of the cost of the meal and you got it no matter what, they also gave us the photopass # on a reciept. I guess that's one way for them to make a little $$. We also got some extra pictures from Chef Mickey because we got a sprinkling of Disney Magic that evening and got to have an extra special time

I want to try to get the report done before we leave for March. Normally I kind of plow through so I'm sure I'll make it. I want to get my photopass CD so I can put those pics into. Most came out really good!!

Day 1 part 2

So, I left off with us headed to check-in. We got off the ME bus, got the carry-on's and stroller and headed inside. I was kind of bummed that the Christmas tree was gone But, I looked forth wreaths and garland ouside and they weren't up so I expected no tree.

I was back at the beautiful WL at WDW so it didn't matter too much.

We got through check-in super quick and super easy! We were staying this night with a rooms only reservation. The very nice CM, but very difficult to understand, who checked us in let us know that when we check out and back in again the next day we didn't need to switch room. Yippppeeeee!! I really wanted to spend sometime settling in that night and not have to worry about moving rooms!

She gave us directions to the room but because she was difficult to understand We really didn't get all of it luckily we found 2 very well dressed male CM's in the hall. We must have looked confused because they offered us help. They pointed us in the right direction and success!! We found the elevator!!

We've stayed at WL before but this room was in the complete opposite side of the building then last time and we had never been in this area before!

We got to the 6th floor and there was a group of 5 or 6 people, late teens early 20's, sitting on the floor by the elevators playing handheld video games. I thought it was a little strange.

we went right in the hall instead of left, it was my fault, I can't read! DH realized we weren't in right place and we walked backed in the right direction. We finally got to our room!!

I'll admit I kind of skipped looking around the room to take a look at the view! I threw open the curtain and stepped up! Boy, oh boy I was happy with what I saw!

Soooooooooo beautiful!!!

You can see the roof under the balcony in the last shot. That's because we were on the top floor on that side of the building and had a dormered balcony roof room!

After we took in the view and I took some pictures of it I checked out the room

DH already comfy in the bed, notice we haven't even been in the room 10 minutes and the kids stuffed animals are already on the floor

I didn't take anymore pictures of the room for some reasom. Not sure why. I din't take any of the bunkbeds probably because the kids were climbing on them all the time!

I did a room check, no funky smell or dirty bathroom. The thing was DH and I got the impression that it had been a while since anyone stayed in this room. The info on the cards on the night stand was old and there was dust in a few places. Mainly on the clock radio. That seemed a bit strange to me.

Anyway, we settled in and relaxed a bit watching tv and taking in the view. The kids asked me about a million times if they could go in the pool . I had packed their bathing suits in the luggage, not the carry-on so I didn't have them. DD asked "can we just go downstairs and buy one in the shop?"

We realized we were starving!!! The kids and I had a light lunch at around 11 and by now it was 4. DH hadn't eaten anything since breakfast! Our dinner reservation wasn't until 6! There was no way we could wait that long!

We snacked a bit on the things I had in the carry-on but it just wasn't enough. So, we decided to wait until 5 and head to dinner early in hopes of not dying of starvation!!

Up next, a LARGE soda, ponies and ketchup! ​

It's so beautiful and serene!! It's our favorite! We've stay at AKL and GF and visited Yacht and Beach Club and WL is by far the best, at least to us! I have lots of pictures of the lobby and grounds to come!

I have lots more WL pics to come!! It's sooo beautiful!! Just so serene and relaxing! I get this kinda of ahhhh feeling just walking inside, if that makes any sense

Definitely use your wonderful new DVC membership to stay in a villa at some point!!! We actually went inside the lobby of the villas this trip and its sooo pretty!!! I kept poking DH and telling him DVC!!!! We may explore the possiblity of buying resale WL.

Your TR has really gotten off to a great start! The WL is just so gorgeous I can't even get over it. I hope to one day be able to stay there, what a view!! I love the picture of your DS showing how excited he is to be there too

I have a lot more WL pictures to come! DS was so excited to be back at the "lincoln lodge" He thinks that's what its called, like lincoln logs!!! When we stayed there in 06 we bought the kiddos a set of WL Lincoln Logs that you could build WL out of. Very cool!! I guess that's were he got it from! I told him several times Wilderness not Lincoln, but he kept saying it so I gave up!

I was going to post another update tonight but I'm too pooped!! Ryan apparently doesn't want to be home and prefers to fuss at me all night the past 2 nights instead of sleeping! Silly baby!!

I will give you a small update for March before I sack out for the night!

When we got home on Monday DH went through the huge stack of mail MIL collected while we where gone. He handed me a priority mail envelop. it was from our travel agent!!!

Yippeee! we just came back and we're getting magical mail already!!

Here's what was inside,

A whole packet of stuff from a platinum planner at Poly!!

I have to give the guy who sent it a call and make sure he has all our info for our ressies etc because the packet included sheets to fill out for all the ressies we wanted to make. We have all that already!

I may change one of our reservations too. I'm thinking of changing our Kona dinner on the 23rd to Ohana. Any advice on that would be great!

I'll be back tomorrow, hopefully well rested!

Day 1 part 3!

So I last left off with us starving and deciding to make an early go at dinner.

We left the room around 5:15, trying to get as close to 6 as we could. We ventured downstairs and started our very long trip to dinner!

When we finally got there it was almost time for our ADR anyway! Ok, just kidding!!!

When we got to WWC I spoke to 3 very nice CM's at the desk and told them that we wanted to see if we could eat a little early. It was very uncrowded inside so they kind of laughed and told me it might be a little of a wait and gave me a pager.

The kiddos went to play with the lincoln logs in the waiting area and the pager went off!

Holy cow!! It was like a 30 second wait! I nearly dropped the pager!

They seated us and we were soooo happy to know food was coming our way soon!

Our waitress came over very quickly and took our drink order. She was super nice and very attentive!

We looked over the menu and all decided on the Canyon Skillet!

While we waited for dinner the we all enjoyed the surroundings and the fun atmosphere!

Doesn't DH look like he's having the best time ever!? Remember, he had on his transdermal motion sickness patch earlier. It makes him sleepy and very thristy So he wasn't all that with it.

DH proved the thristy part when our sodas came. He downed his in like 2 minutes!! WOW!!! However, he didn't realize that he was indeed at WWC!

When our salad came so did a refill for DH!

It was huge!! Like a gallon of soda!! I told him that if he drank the whole thing he's never sleep! But, he decided instead of drinking it all himself he'd "share!" everytime I drank a little of mine he poured some in my glass! I finally had to tell him to knock it off!

Our dinner was delicious!! The Canyon Skillet was fantastic!! Sooooo yummy!! We all loved the mashed potatoes, except Johnny who for some strange reason doesn't like potatoes, DH loved to ribs and I loved the chicken!! We ate so much!

The kiddos LOVED running around the restaurant with delievering ketchup!! They were too funny!! DD run and grab a few bottles and give some to DS because he always took a little longer getting there!

They also really enjoyed the pony races!

DH and were happy that they could get out some of that excited to be at Disney energy!

We enjoyed our dinner so much we couldn't eat dessert! Oh no!!! That's ok, DDP starts tomorrow and there will be plenty of desserts to be devoured!

After dinner I told DH I wanted to take some pictures around WL and he told me he wanted to lay in bed and watch TV. So he took the boys back to the room and me and my shadow (AKA Dorothy) went on a little picture taking tour.

I'm going to break here because the kiddos just walked in from school! Be back with the picture tour soon! ​

WCC sounds like so much fun! That is one HUGE soda, good thing he shared because not only would he have been awake all night, he would have been in the bathroom too Your kids look like they had alot of fun and definitely sounds like it was a good thing they got to get out some of their pent up energy. Can't wait to see more pictures of WL.
