WHOSE Luckier than me?! The January TR!&March PTR!**LINK TO NEW TR IS UP!!**

OMG a picture of DH skating on your street would be hilarious! Have him put on a ski mask or paper bag over his head so his highway dept friends wont know who it is!

Your poor little DS! I hope hes feeling better!! And poor Pluto felt so bad, how sweet of him! Dogs are so good sometimes.

Last but not least, you leave tomorrow!! Good luck getting everything done today :goodvibes

poor baby with the cut. Who will take care of your dog? mil/fil?

Have the best time!!!! :woohoo: you're almost there, can you believe it's time to go see the Mouse? :dance3:

MIL and FIL will have Pluto! I had originally planned to put him in a kennel but MIL and FIL were pretty insistent that he stay with them. He's 11 months old and can be pretty high strung sometimes. But they had a trial run over thanksgiving when we went to my parents in PA and he did great with them.

I'm sooooo excited to see Mickey again!! The kids are about to bust!!

I never thought of that! He had a hockey mask!!! The street was terrible this morning when I went out!

Ryan's fine. He's tough. THe funny thing is, he knows it's there and touches his chin every now and then to check on it!! LOL!!

I felt so bad that Pluto felt bad! The poor puppy! I don't think the fact that he knows something is going on made it any better!

don't have too much more to do, just a few odds and ends.

It's freaking snow like all get out right now! It had just better stop!! :headache:

I hope you don't have any more snow or ice.
Sunshine is less than 24 hours away just hang in there dear heart.
Poor baby with a boo-boo on his lip and such a sad looking puppy.
Thank goodness DH didn't go out ice skating that is all you'd need is to have him fall and break a leg or something.

Please have a safe trip to the airport and a wonderful time in Disney.
Maybe by the time you get back I'll have my TR all done.:rolleyes1

Awww, you are already gone! I guess that's what I get for joining in late. Atleast I'll have time to catch up while you are there. I'm looking forward to hearing about both your trips!

I hope you are having a wonderful time w/ Mickey and friends!

Hi everyone!! We're back!! We actually just walked in the door about an hour ago!!

We had a fabulous time!! Soooooooo much fun and magic!!! I'll be back later to start filling you in on the details!!! First I have to muddle my way through the mess we left (only a small one) and the unpacking!!

Ok! So, I've cleaned up, unpacked 95% of our stuff, started the laundry :scared1:, goot a good night sleep (still tired though) and drank multiple cups of real coffee! I also downloaded all the pictures on the camera, I took 751 pictures, and started going through them and upload all of our photopass pictures, all 240! (not all 240 are ours, some how we ended up with several families of Chef Mickey that aren't us :confused3 ) So I figured I get on with the TR! I'm going to go slow at first because I want to get through the photopass pictures and order the CD and get through all of the pictures I took!

Anyway, here goes!!

Day 1, Saturday, Jan 3rd Travel day and check-in!

Let me start by saying the night before a trip I never get a good night sleep In fact last trip I got maybe 1.5 - 2 hours tops. I need sleep. I'm not the type of person who can run on empty!

This night would prove different! Everyone slept! It was like a little disney magic before the vacation even started!!

I woke when the alarm went off at 6 feeling great, excited to get moving and sooooo happy to have slept!

I took a shower and started getting myself ready with the intention of waking Ryan around 7 and going to get bagels for breakfast at a local bagel store. Ryan had different plans and was up about 6:40. Not a big deal because he hung out in the bathroom with me while I finished up. But, DD wandered down the stairs at about 7 followed by DS about 5 minutes later.

So there was a slight change of plans. I woke DH to have him go get breakfast and gas up the car.

DH didn't argue, strange because he isn't morning person!

We were eating our last NY bagels for 9 days by 7:45! After breakfast I put DH's motion sickness patch on him and took the one for the return trip and a few other items outside and threw them into the suitcase because we had loaded the car the night before! Remember this, it will come into play later ;)

We got the kiddos dressed and ready and were ready to met MIL and FIL outside at 9 as planned. They were bringing the car home instead of paying $100 to park.

And we were off to the airport!! We had quick 40 minute trip there, unloaded the car and said our goodbyes!

We made it through security quickly and easily and went off to the terminal! We still had a little bit of wait so DD and I went in search of a light lunch. The kiddos had fruit salad that they enjoyed and I shared a yummy yogurt parfait with Ryan! Both of us enjoyed it a lot!

The kiddos played and had all sorts of fun watching the planes the rest of the wait.

Soon it was time to lineup to board!

It was different this time. Normally there are a lot of families on flights to Orlando. This time there was only one other vacationing family! The plane was full of retired folks returning to FL after visiting family for the holidays.

There was also a girl, probably about 11 or 12, there with her Dad who was putting her on the plane to go home to her Mom after spending the holidays in NY with him. I tell you, this was absolutely heartbreaking to watch! They were both crying so hard! I had to look away otherwise I would have cryed too! I wanted to give both of them a big hug!

Then it was onto the plane and OFF WE GO!!!

We had a wonderful, smooth, clear flight to MCO. We landed early and were actually standing at the ME counter at the time we should have been landing!!! :woohoo:

We had no wait at all at ME and the wonderful CM who helped us fixed the fact that our return trip info was wrong! It was the info that had us leaving on Friday! Hellllooo! We had changed things twice since then! Once we were leaving Sunday, now we were leaving Monday :confused3

Then off to the bus and again no wait. We were on the bus and going down the road in 5 minutes!

The bus ride was great! The bus was less then 25% full! The kiddos enjoyed the video and DH and I enjoyed the fact that we were the second stop! I will say that this bus route didn't make sense to me. Poly was first, WL second, then they were going back to the Contemporary. I don't know the roads in WDW all that well but that seemed a little strange to me!

But, no matter what we got to WL quickly and headed to check-in!

   YEAH your home.....you were missed.

Glad you had a good start on your depart day.
I would have lost it seeing that poor daughter and her father. It is so sad to even think about.

Waiting to see your pics ...since I still haven't figured out the loading progress. Maybe one day.

You're home!  Great start to the vacation, looks like the Disney magic is on your side so far. Can't wait to read more :goodvibes

Hi YOU ARE HOME! So sorry your had to come back. :goodvibes
Feel free to join me in the depression state.
Love the kids shirts, they look so cute. Sounds like you had a great time.
We did also. Were you able to get your chef mickeys pictures on the photopass? I asked there and she told me no. DH wanted to buy them, and I refused saying when I get back I will email disney. I did and have not heard back from them. Wonder if on of those is us!:lmao:
