Well, I did say she could live here until she gets adopted. I know that a ten year old dog is not easy to place, but there may be someone out there with lots of dachshunds already and they may have room for one more. By fostering here in our home, we are not responsible for food or vet bills as the shelter pays for all of that. If we officially adopted her, we'd have to foot the bill for food and medication if she needed it. Right now she is healthy. She came to us with a URI and needed antibiotics and eye drops but she's done with all that now and back on task scouting for food she can weasel out of people. So you like dachshunds huh?
get that
right out of your head..for us anyway!.just sayin I was a member of 2 national rescue groups and we "failed" fostering 6 times
not really failed because I can't imagine life w/o them so sorry there is no room in this pack of 8
....just think Beauty is going to weasel here way into your heart (think she already did) and 5 yrs from now you will be sitting there with her on your lap
