Whose going on the Wonder, Feb 26th??

I will be on the Feb 26th sailing as well. I am now to this. HOw do I get a fish extender I would love to trade some gifts for the kids. Do we give each other our room numbers, etc?

Wife, daughter (10) and I will be joining you on this cruise.

We will be staying at the Polynesian arriving Friday evening February 20. This is our third trip to the Poly and have also stayed twice at the Beach Club. We've also sailed on the Magic, but this is the first time on the Wonder.

My wife has lost 60lbs. for this trip through Weight Watchers.

We are traveling during NH school vacation week. Is anyone else traveling from NH?

We're sailing on 2/26 as well! Can't believe it's so close! We leave Sunday for 4 days at the parks first. Our first time to WDW and first time cruising too.

We are me, DH, twin DDs 5 1/2 and DS almost 3. We are so excited!

Do we have to bring 2 or 3 nights of nicer clothes for dinner? Just went though DS clothes and found out he grew outta most of his stuff, so Momma has to go shopping before next Tuesday!!!

We're on the 2/26 cruise also - our first family cruise (my husband and i went on a short cruise i 1997). We love disney and have been going to the beach club the last few years - but this trip is just for the cruise.

THere's me and DH, my daughter whose is 7(almost 8) and my son (who is 4).

We're on deck 2 in a cat 9 towards the front of the ship.

We fly in wednesday and we're going to stay at the radisson at the port. I'm still trying to figure out if i want to drop off the car on wednesday and just use the hotel shuttle or keep the car overnight. We had planned on just letting the kids play in the pool - but the weather is going to be low 70's not really swimming weather.

Can't believe its only a few days away

Hi sneakypigs! Sorry for the delay in replying...life has been nuts lately...
As for the fish extender, most people make them...takes about 1/2 yard of fabric and 3 yards of seam binding..be creative as you want to be...or you can purchase a hanging travel storage bag at a luggage store...or go to the dollar store and purchase 3 or 4 small tote bags...tie them together, end to end and then hang it from the 'fish'

Any small items works well...pencils, notepads, candy, kids party store items for goody bags...

As for stateroom numbers, those who want to participate can blog here what their stateroom number is so others will know... I will create a list and put it on this thread on Wednesday around noon...I am heading to FL Wednesday afternoon..

The fish extenders were started by other disboard members who wanted to do something for each other while on the same cruise..

Any small items work great... I have about 100 items ready to be 'gifted' ...should be alot of fun...

As for the ediquite..make it simple, boy or girl or either gender...you will sometimes be able to tell if the stateroom has a boy or girl just by the fish extender..some have their names on them, others have pictures on their stateroom doors.

I will have a list posted here on Wednesday by noon of those staterooms wanting to participate...

Congrats to your wife on her weight loss. What an accomplishment!

Never stayed at the Poly but we are DVC members so we usually stay at our 'home' resorts'

Hi Vickie-

Don't go crazy buying new clothes...most kids are okay in pants and a knit top or anything that is not a t-shirt...

As for adults, nice pants, tops/shirts are fine...some people will get all dressed up for photo's but don't feel like you have to have a ballgown or a tux for dinner...the Wonder is more laid back than the Magic...
