We are staying at BCV from Sept 5th-11th. We are thinking about staying at WL for two nights on Sept 3rd-4th....

Anyone else going in Sept? What should I expect for weather? Will my whole vacation be a total washout with rain?

Wendy

I'll be at Pop Century Sept. 12 - 18th. Can't wait.

From past experience you can expect at least an afternoon shower basically every day in September. If you go prepared for the showers and simply roll with the punches you should have a great trip.

I'm going this September for my honeymoon, and have been there in September a few years ago also.

It's VERY warm, and like the previous poster said, expect some rain. The last time we went in September we had to contend with a tropical storm.. but it still wasn't bad. We made it out to the parks early in the day and it usually didn't pour until about mid-late afternoon so we were set. Once we did get caught at Epcot in a down pour... that's where having a poncho (no matter how silly they may look :D ) comes in handy.

Enjoy your September trip.. we will be there the following week!
I can't wait. :Pinkbounc

We will be there Sept 23 - Oct 1. Staying at AKL 3 nights and a boardwalk view one bedroom for 5 :hyper:

We were there Sept 7 - 11 last year and not a drop of rain. The temp was about 80. It was wonderful and there were no crowds.

We are planning a 3 family trip so there will be 10 of us. We have gone in sept in the past and there was a hurrican sooo there was rain everyday but we still had a great time....

We (6 of us) will be there September 19-25 at either Pop or All Star sports. Haven't decided which yet.

We went the same week last year and didn't have any problems with the weather. A little hot but not too bad. Only one brief rain shower one evening while we were at Epcot.

You can't beat the lack of crowds that time of year so it's worth putting up with a little rain.

COUNT US IN TOO

Two nights at POP Sept 17 and 18 then 7 long wonderful nights at my new home (Sun 19- Sun 26)

"Saratoga Springs Resort"

First trip with my newly purchased Disney Vacation Club.

We are going on the Sept. 18th Magic 7 night Disney cruise and have decided to go to WDW on Saturday and Sunday and fly home Sunday night.

It will be a quick visit, and we have decided to go to Animal Kingdom during the day on Saturday and then head over to MGM to see Fantasmic (haven't seen it yet). Then on Sunday we want to visit Blizzard Beach for the first time.

September is hot, and during the week it isn't crowded, but I am guessing that weekends are going to be more like peak season week days. If it is bad we won't do this again after a 7 day cruise, we just want to give it a try.

Oh, and we are staying at Pop Century.

We'll be at BCV Sept 12-18 for our anniversary. We had our honeymoon at BC 10 years ago, and have been to WDW in Sept many times. Hot weather, low crowds. During approximately 5 or 6 September trips, we've never really had much problem with rain (maybe we've just been lucky). Whatever rain there was usually lasted only an hour or so in late afternoon, and the majority of days were bright and sunny. In our opinion, Sept and Oct are the best times to go.

*sigh* I guess we are.

I really wanted to go Mar/Apr but it's just not working out. We're planning on staying at CR full concin. (14th floor).

We've been at WDW the last 2 Sept's. Last year, weather was pretty good. Hot, but not unbearable. Evenings very pleasent. The year before, it was just as hot as Aug. Little rain (mainly last afternoons) both times.

NCgolfer looks like we will be at the same place at the same time. Did you get in the Preffered building? We were going to stay at the Boadwalk but the saving at POP just won out. Looking forward to my at real trip to Diseny World. I was in Orland for 5 day on a bussiness trip and only had time to see MK 3 hours Ecopt 3 hours and Ak 3 hours. Never was able to see MGM.

Yes Minnie we did get preferred rooms. We'll be traveling with our 18 month old daughter so the closer to food court etc... the better. Got a AAA rate on the rooms $69.60 + tax.

My husband & I will be there from September 12th thru September 18th. We have not made our reservations yet because we are going the 1st week of May & won't make our reservations for September until we get back from our May trip. We always go in September & love it because of the low crowds. ::MinnieMo ::MickeyMo

I'll be at Pop century from Sept. 19 to 25:D Looks like I'll be there at the same time as Karalea :wave2:

I too will be at WDW in September 16-22 for my wedding and honeymoon. My ceremnoy is planned for 3:00 OUTSIDE. I was told by my sales manager that May, July and August are when it rains at least once daily. I am still very sceptical about the time of my ceremnoy, but I guess I'll just hope for the best. Besides, isn't their always a 50% chance that it will rain on any given day....Either it will, or it won't!
