Whose 7 Month Window is Coming Up?

Our 7 month window is coming up on March 16th. I am hoping to get either a SSR grand villa for the week or a 2 & 1 bedroom unit at SSR.

I am really hoping that I don't go into labor on that day!

Our 7 month window opens on April 2nd. Our trip is November 2nd. Right now we're booked at AKV, Kidani in a standard view studio. I am hoping to switch to Vero Beach, an ocean view inn room, but I will take a garden view or a studio. I am just hoping to get into Vero! We are celebrating our 18th anniversary without the kids, and are hoping for a relaxing beach vacation!

EDITED 2/15: I found better flights for new dates while playing on AA.com last night. I have the flights on hold ... and will phone DVC tomorrow (16th) for my intended reservation. Yeah!

EDITED 2/16: Whoo-hoo! Phoned this morning to book our first 7 nights at Aulani!

I call in on the 16th of this month. I didn't bother to make any reservations at the 11 month mark, so we won't be picky.

We're buying an HHI contract with banked points from last year and this year we're not going to use the points at HHI and so I'll be looking at 2 important family trips at the 7 month time. One will be a family visit over Halloween and the other will be another all family visit for the Marathon in January. Each will be a 5 night reservation, and will cover a weekend stay. I'm not fussy, we'll get something.

March 13....and March 15 (I'm planning on a split stay)

I'm hoping to go for my birthday and F&W. We just bought HHI points with 2010 points included so I have 111 points to play with. I'm thinking I am going to try for a standard studio at AKV-Jambo for 2 nights and then move to a standard 1BR at Kidani for 3 nights. As much as I love AKV, I've already stayed there three times and OKW twice. I'd really like to change it up for this trip since I have to wait until 7 months anyways. I just don't know who I am going with yet. If it were DH, then I'd try for BLT. More than likely, it will be my sister, sister-in-law, or BFF. If any of those ladies come along, then I would prefer the 1BR at Kidani. Decisions, decisions, decisions....

We have a reservation for a 1br at BLT from 9/29 to 10/2.

In an effort to save points, I am going to call on 3/25 and try for a studio at OKW (9/25 to 9/29) or a SV studio at BWV.

My window is a little confusing. Have a dedicated 2 br standard view at BLT for September 30-October 7. So, is my window February 28 or March 1???? I want to call and see if I can get BWV or BCV because my SIL is running in the half marathon on the 1st. I know, I know... there is virtually zero chance that I will be able to get anything but I would LOVE to get 2 studios BW view, I would save 65 points!!!

Your window opens on March 1st. And, you never know. I got two nights in a BW view 2 bedroom for August at my 7 month window a month ago. I never expected that to happen!

My 'would be' 7 month window is at the same time. But I'm not a member yet. If I pass ROFR, I should hear by March 12. But it'll take a few more weeks to close and get me in the system. So I'm gonna miss my 7 month window but about 3 weeks.

Fortunately, the only must-have for our next trip is a Savanna View at AKV so I think we're pretty safe with that part but I'd really like to do a split stay and wanted to do the other half at my home resort of BWV. But after the 7 month mark, I'm sure everyone else will have it all filled up.

But one can always hope for some !!

My 7 month window opens this Thursday, 2-17 for a one night stay before the DVC members cruise. Then I have to call again for the 3 nights after the cruise on Feb. 22nd since we are not staying for consecutive nights. We are trying to stay at different resorts each trip, this gives us a chance to stay at two more. Trying for BCV prior and BWV after the cruise.

Ours is March 9th. We currently have a THV booked. I think we may switch to a 1bd at BLT or AKL SV. Seems crazy to give up that extra space with 3 kids, but we really want to try out BLT and have access to the monorail. We'll see what's available.

Mine is 3/21. We are hoping to add on 6 nights in an OVIR at Vero, following our 5 night BCV F & W Fest visit. I already have plane tickets for those dates, so I hope I haven't jinxed myself!!

our 7 month window is 2/28....right now we're in a 2br at VWL from 9/28-10/2.....but it's my daughter's 21 birthday trip and she'd like me to try for BWV, BCV or BLT...so we'll see what happens on the 28th
