Who's used Tammac.com

I am waiting to hear from them (Tammac.com) regarding my finance for a re-sale through The Timeshare Store --- does anyone who's used them remember how long it took to hear something?? I'm very nervous --- my credit is not the best but it's not the worst either!!

I used Tammac two years ago when I bought my DVC resale. I too had marginal credit and I was concerned. However, they DID approve me, although I needed to accept a higher interest rate (don't remember those details right now).

I don't think I heard form them for a couple of weeks; in fact, I think I found out from the resale sales person that I'd been approved BEFORE I found out from Tammac.

I've had no problems iwth them, and just TODAY I mailed in my check to pay off the loan (we just refinanced our house, and got a home equity line at the same time; interest rate is MUCH better, so I"m paying off Tammac with the home equity line).

Whats the interest rate that Tammac charges???? And does a person just need the standard 20% down??? We are getting close to buying and are trying to decide between buying at BCV or VWL and financing will be a factor..

I have no advice for you about Tammac, but just wanted to say; I think you are wise to buy DVC with as many WDW trips as you like to take!! You will wonder why you didn't do it years ago and save money on DELUXE accommodations!

According to the Tammac website, the current interest rate starts at 11.50%; however, expect that interest rate ONLY if you have really good credit. If your credit isn't great, expect that rate to go up.

I'm not sure about the 20% down - I can't remember what I had to do, and I'm at work, so I don't have access to the documents. I believe I put 20% down, and financed the rest; however, that may be flexible with a resale, you may be able to put less down and finance more. That's something you'd need to check with Tammac about.
