As I've mentioned in previous threads, I'm taking my kids (5, 3, and 1) to DL/CA from 9-13 Apr 07. We'll be traveling on the 9th and 13th (no park days). I know it's not the greatest time to go there, but it's the only time we have available. Anyway, I've been reading/lurking a while to find out all of the inside tips, etc. I've listed below everything we'd like to do in the time frame (above). If you guys can put together possible itineraries for us (I'd owe you all big.

List of dates and times that have to occur

10 Apr 07 – 1130 – Lunch at Ariel’s Grotto in California

11 Apr 07 – 0730 – Breakfast (lilo & stitch at phi grill)

I'll work on it. Basically I do a hop in the day. Do you need nap breaks built in, if so that will change my plans for you!!

So for you, I would start out the 10th in DL, hit Tomorrowland and Fantasyland and then head over to DCA for your Ariel's lunch. Then I would do as much of the DCA stuff as you can get done till about 6pm! Then I would head over to DL again and hit a few rides before grabbing some dinner at Stage Door or somewhere to go and find a spot for the fireworks. Then I would hit any more you can before the kids are ready for bed.

The 11th, Breakfast at PP then into DL. Stop on Main Street to greet a few characters and then this time I would hit Adventureland and New Orleans Square with Critter Country. I think you should do Pirates but that's just me!!
After that you'll want some lunch so either stay in DL or head to DCA depending where you want to eat. Then I would go to DCA and hit a few more rides/shows until later when I would grab dinner and then watch the electrical parade. Not sure about your kids again whether they can hang after this or if you'll head back to the room! If so take your time and head back over to DL, maybe hopping on the Railroad right after you get in to avoid the Main Street crowds!! Head to another land and ride some rides, then call it a night!

12th, I would again start at DL (see a pattern) and do Toontown first and then hit anything you missed in Fantasyland! After that I would do the monorail (if it's running) and then find some lunch. Then again I would head over to DCA and get in any re-dos or shows that you missed the other days. And I do think you should hit Flik's Fun Fair because of the ages of your kids. They are rides that all of you can have fun on!!! Then I would hang there till about 4-5pm, then head back over to DL where I'd grab a to go bite (Stage Door, possibly Pizza) and find my spot for the 6:30 parade! After that you have done all on your list so revisit some favorites or watch the fireworks again if everyone loved them (I know I watch them every night available!!)

Well that's it. Of course the whole thing get altered a little if you need to account for going back to the hotel!!!

Thanks. I will need a nap break daily (and we're staying at the Residence Inn Main Gate). I know it's not the closest, but I wanted a kitchen so I can make some of our meals to save some money (for the other stuff).
I'm going to try this out. I was starting to get overwhelmed with all of the planning, this really helped me out.

I recomend you spend $16 and get ridemax. You'll be able to build in naps, your lunch at Ariels and they'll take into account the crowds for that time period.

No problem. Then here is what I would change as a main outline!

Day 1, DL all morning and then over to DCA for your PS lunch. Then I would head back to the room from 1-4, head back to DCA and hit a few rides/shows until 7pm when I would head over to DL and get some quick dinner and a spot for fireworks!

Day 2, Breakfast at PP, then to DL for same plans as above. Head back to hotel around 1 and eat lunch in the room and take swim/nap break! Back to DCA at 4:30 pm, shows and rides you haven't done yet and then grab dinner and get a spot for EP around 8-8:15. Then over to DL doing the train thing to avoid crowds.

Day 3, Same as above, start in DL doing Toontown and favorites or anything missed. Head over to DCA for a few hours and then back to hotel for nap/swim. Back to parks at 5 where I would hit a few quick rides and grab a bite and spot for 6:30 parade. Then whatever you still want to do that night and sadly say goodbye.

This plan ensures you skip the hottest and most crowded hours and still get to do all on your list!!!

Linda and I think alike, as I was going to write the same thing and then I saw her post.

Hey I just did that for them for free!!!

Thanks for all of the help Matterhorn/Hydroguy. I took what Matterhorn gave me and then went to ridemax and plugged in everything based on my schedule and have come up with a workable schedule for my family and myself. You guys are awesome. Thanks again.

Sorry to those other guys when we went to DLR in Feb and we used Ridemax it was good now not as good as what we can do in WDW we have a guy that tells us what day to go and what attractions to do at what ttime now ride max was pretty good i dont know how people crowd in at Dlr and but at WDW Fantasyland, which is very busy in the middle of the day is dead in the morning, now after an hour in fantasyland and it will be pretty crowded.
but ridemax is pretty good you tell it what day to go to what park and tell it what time you want to have an break and what attracions you wanted to do and it will tell you what do to at what time

Make sure you try and see the fireworks the first night. As they are famous for being cancelled due to winds at higher elevations..

So if you miss them you still have 2 other nights to try..
