Who's the meanest?

DD says "the mean lady in Snow White" (the picture in the Kid's Guide gives her nightmares)

I was trying to remember the name of the villian in The Rescuers who kidnapped Penny...that's pretty rotten and I remember seeing it at a time when it really freaked me out that someone could take me away from home.

But by far, the biggest "villian" I recall was the fire in Bambi...I was traumatized for years because Bambi's mother died in the fire!

I think that it was a hunter that killed bambi's mother.
Either way it made me sad.

Speaking of Bambi... in College I took great delight in pointing out to the boys in my History class that Flower (the Skunk) was, indeed, a boy (it is really misleading).

Malificent (sp.?) Putting a curse on a newborn baby. Still as mean as ever after 16 years. Now that's a witch. Plus, those crows she sent into the woods who spied on the good fairies making Briar Rose's (Aurora's) birthday cake and dress gave me the creeps. 3 old ladies can't even move to a treehouse in the woods without being found. Kind of like today's paparazzi.

Maleficent!! I remember being so scared of her as a little girl, that scary face, those horns-yikes!! My grandma had a big set of Disney books with all of the stories in them, I couldn't even look at the one with Maleficent on it.

They are all evil in their own ways, but Scar, the only one to have actually killed someone. That is evil.

He's not my favorite, Cruella and Captain Hook are my fav's, but Scar....ooohhhh just saying his name makes me shiver....do it again, do it again....LOL

Its just a thought but I wondered if they filmed more than one scene where Bambi's mam is killed, maybe they changed the scene if it wasn't popular with people or if it upset children when it first came out

Hands down.....Maleficent!
followed closely by the Evil Queen in Snow White.

I've always thought of Maleficent as just evil, in fact whenever anyone says the word, the image of her pops into my head!

If anyone has any doubts, you should read the new book called Kingdom Keepers...it is about how the Disney villians have come to life at WDW and Maleficent is their ring leader! She is really scary in the book and it's so creepy to think of her walking around and plotting at WDW! (shivers)
