Um... do you honestly blame the muslim religion for what some terrorists did? Do you blame Roman Catholicism for what Timothy McVeigh did?

We have terrorist and non-terrorist muslims amoung us. The nons can point out the terrorist but do not. I blame them.

im not extremely religous but i think that sky writing is really neat. the first time i saw it i thought it was a marry me message. i always see it when i leave work when i am working at epcot.

They can? Is it a secret hand signal that all Muslims know mean that that person is a terrorist?

Is it so hard to believe that the terrorists (of any religion) keep their plans secret from anyone who is not a fellow terrorist?

Do people who bomb abortion clinics go to their local church and tell everyone of their plans? Should we then jail everyone who attends the same church or religious group as someone who commits a crime?

This thread has officially reached the limit of pointless.

My last statement to all of you out there who are non-christian is this.......not all Christians should be calling themselves as such. If you met a Christian (as a non Christian) who truly acted like they should, within their faith, you'd love them as anyone else.

Spreading the word, through clouds or anything else is simply a creative way, within legal limits, and considering people's views to spread a message. Nothing I saw with this sky writer EVER suggested anything negative. In fact, if it didn't say the word Jesus in it, most people would be lauding this gentlemen for what he says.

It's obvious that some hate Christians, and I understand why. As a Christian I've often told my wife that the way Christians react to things such as homosexuality and moral issues is why people hate them. If Christians did as Christ wanted, he'd accept those people in and he'd live amongst them, teaching of his values. Shoving people out and screaming at them is NOT Christian. Too many people here know too little about the faith and are listening to the Main Stream Media and Televanegalist to get their perception of a true Christian.

It's sad because personally I can get along with ANYONE and be respectful with ANYONE. I have a very unique situation of being able to talk religion with my Muslim professor in a loving way. She even hugged me one day. It's a shame that most people can't do that. That goes for both sides.

I think everyone should be more educated about others before coming in and calling others nutjobs and things like that.

That fear wasn't so much placed by the church (though to be honest, they did their part) it was about the Christan lady sitting on top of me pounding my head into the concrete parking lot because she caught me out back of our apartment complex having a very quite Samhain ritual (with the permission of the landlord).

Or at the hands of those girls who came out of the Catholic Church one day to find me and my friend holding hands and started throwing rocks at us...

That's the people who traumatized me and put the fear of Godliness into me. Not the fear of God - because I don't think they were doing what he wanted them to do. That's why I have no problem with the message it's self. What makes me cringe back like an abused child waiting for the next blow is the attitude and violence I have all too often seen behind the types of people who go so far as to protholize in the sky.

Fortunately, I was not strongly indoctrinated in fire and brimstone as it appears you were. My Baptist upbrings was of the "Northern" variety.

I have problems with people complaning about the occasional (?) message about about Jesus in the sky, but have no problem with a mosque. The other religions are peaceful. I do not remember a plane piloted by a buddhist crashing into the WTC.

Your statement is ignorant, firstly. The replica of the Koutoubia Minaret in the Morocco pavilion is not a mosque. A prayer tower/minaret and a mosque are not the same thing. These days, minarets are more decorative in purpose, as the Muslims use speaker systems to call the faithful to prayer.

Secondly, anyone who wishes to can avoid the buildings in World Showcase that are of a religious nature, as tourists can expect them to be there. I have not seen the skywriting, but it would be quite annoying to see on my WDW vacation, the same as if a fellow tourist tried to push pamphlets on me. No thanks.

Thirdly, why must you lump all people of one religion together? Do you think terrorist Muslims let all other Muslims know of their evil plots? Do you think only Islam is not a peaceful religion?

I'm very sorry for you and anyone else who believes as you do. I hope the next time you pray, God opens your eyes.

I think I've been among the few here to try to be nice and mature. You obviously can't let that happen. I'm amazed at the hypocracy in this thread. People want free speach but they dont, they want this but they dont, they are understanding but only of certain people.

We see what you are trying to sell, but not all of us are buying it. Your bias here is quite clear.
