Everyone on the DIS seems to know who they're voting for. I'm still undecided. Does anyone else not know who they're voting for yet.

I thought we already talked about this???
We already decided who youre voting for.![]()

Ah yes, I know you said to vote for McCain, but my parents are big Obama supporters, especially my mom, who will be furious with me if I vote for McCain, so I am still confused as to who I should vote for.I thought we already talked about this???

That is what I'm going to do. I was just wondering if anyone else was undecided. I am able to think for myself. I just don't want to make a quick decision, I take voting very seriously. You don't have to tell anyone who you are voting for. Voting is also not genetically decided. Use your own thoughts to make your decision.
This is supposed to be a non-partisan candidate calculator to help you choose a candidate based on how you feel about the issues. I gave it a try even though I know who I'm voting for since I've already researched the issues and found it to be accurate and non-partisan. Hope it helps, no matter which way you vote, the important thing is that you're voting!

I took the quiz. There is less then 10% difference between me, and either candidate's opinions. I think part of the problem is that I can see the good and bad with a lot of the issues, and the ones I feel more strongly about, are also ones that I don't think are that urgent. This is supposed to be a non-partisan candidate calculator to help you choose a candidate based on how you feel about the issues. I, for one, think you should listen to your mom.Ah yes, I know you said to vote for McCain, but my parents are big Obama supporters, especially my mom, who will be furious with me if I vote for McCain, so I am still confused as to who I should vote for.
I'm back to undecided. Took the little test and had about an even split between Obama and McCain. My problem is I'm not too happy with either of them--I trust McCain more for the economy and foreign policy, but I'm not a social conservative and I strongly believe in gay marriage. I want rights--to marry another woman if I so choose (liberal), own a gun (conservative), have a first trimester abortion (neither party since both sides take abortion to the extreme of their position).
Basically, I may just give up my right to a meaningful vote and vote Libertarian.
