Can someone just confirm, we have linked rooms however it is my family in one room and my mum and dad in the one next door, will cruisers still leave fish extender presents at both rooms, as it is my mum and dads first cruise and we have done their fish extender as a surprise

The way we did our FE gifts is for linked rooms we have 1 gift for all the participants in both rooms. If a Diser has mulitple cabins listed individually in the sheet we are giving gifts to all rooms seperately.

If that is not a correct assumption and both rooms intend to give/receive then let me know and I can modify our gifts.

We'll have something for each person in each stateroom participating in the FE.

I set mine up the same way (except that I do have small gifts for each child). If any adjoining rooms are giving/recieving seperately then just let us know.

For those who wanted to update their GTY (or other info) on the SPREADSHEET, we have added a tab named DIS LIST that is not locked, so you can edit it. We can't figure out why the other one is locked as the settings are for whoever has the link to be able to edit and don't see anything with a protected range to "unprotect" - so next best thing, copy/paste

If you still have a GTY, go ahead and update as there may be things left for you at your cabin even if you aren't FE'ing

Just finished our FE's (phew!) and we have one for each person on the list, regardless of cabin. I'm sure your parents will get plenty of gifts!

We will be splitting ours by cabin, so for your group each cabin will receive FE, only question will be which cabin is which, unless it is obvious by the FE or door decorations. In other words, mum and dad may get the bundle meant for the rest of the family and visa versa, but it will be obvious from us as ours will be 1 per person in room.

We did individual gifts for each child and then a cabin gift for every cabin number shown on the FE list. As long as you listed both cabin numbers, you with both get our gift.

Google says some may have a machine to do them, but most do not. So I would say make sure you have the cash you need but if they have the ability to accept a card, you can always use it and save your cash for later. I wonder if those that pick up at the airport are more likely to accept a credit card.

I'm looking at booking our Leaning Tower tickets. Was hoping for pre lunch - 11:30-ish - but latest morning timeslot available right now is 10:45. I'm a bit worried about getting there in time - port arrival is 7:45 and I know we may be tendered (unless we get to use the new port?). Travel time by train to Pisa seems to be about 1 hour. I don't want to do an early morning that day with Rome the next day. So I'm thinking of 1:00 or later. Any thoughts on the heat around that time?

In 2007 we had an afternoon excursion there thru DCL. Our tower climb was at 3:00 and while it was warm, there was a bit of a breeze. So not unbearable. Plus the plaza area is spacious so there isn't the oppressiveness you can get in Rome from the heat.

We will be driving from Sarnia to Toronto on the 13th, but are taking the 6:40 p.m. Air France flight to Paris. Had originally planned on the nonstop Air Canada, but got a great deal on flights through Paris, and now we get 4 days in Paris after the cruise! Best wishes for a smooth drive to Pearson! I have to work that morning so we won't be leaving here until 12:30-1:00. Assuming a normal 2 1/2-3 hour drive we will still get there 3 hours before the flight, but I'm always nervous of backups on highway 401.

Have you planned where to park? Will probably do Park'n'Fly since I have a discount through work. Anyone used their lot in Toronto before? We are usually flying west when we fly from there instead of Detroit, so we leave early in the morning and stay over at a hotel with parking. Been a while since I used any of the lots.

We're climbing at 2 Hard to tell what the wearher in the afternoon will be. Last time I was there it was August and we climbed in the morning. It was pretty hot but I don't remember that as an issue on the climb. This group grabbed most of the morning tickets when they opened up on Tuesday.
