Finish packing??????!!!!! I thought you were already done. You're falling behind.



I think it's time for lunch 'round these here parts.... My packing will have to wait.

I am done with everyone but me!! My dresses are packed, I just need to decide on the rest of my clothing....

And then there is all that last minute stuff -- cameras, batteries, chargers, phones, etc. that need done. I actually should make a list of that junk so we don't forget it.


What's for lunch? We are having pizza!

Our love of Epcot.
The feelings of nostalgia we have for the MK every time we enter that park.
My DH getting grumpy as soon as we walk into DHS (???? still haven’t figured it out…).
And finally, us never spending enough time in AK.

OMG! My family is the EXACT same as yours!

We love Epcot, to the point where we spend almost every night of our vacation there.

Magic Kingdom is an absolute MUST for our first morning. In fact, it has to be the first park we set foot in

My DDad just gets downright grumpy as heck as soon as we enter DHS. We always end up dissolving into disagreements, which is frustrating because I quite like DHS.

And AK is so breathtaking and beautiful, but we never seem to spend more than a half day there

So they're out. Sort of.

Some are still lying in wait in the closet. Baby steps.... I can't do too much at once.
Now I have to figure out what to do with them.

More likely than not, they'll stay on my bed like that for the remainder of the day and then get thrown on the ground when it's time to go to bed.

Jo - definately a start, getting them out is half the battle right?

Holy toledo--- I'm running out of time! I still have so much to do!!!!!

I think I need an extra week.

Don't forget to take a power strip---- it's easier to charge all of your stuff with it. There's just not that many outlets in the rooms. Now someone please remind me to pack that before I leave!

Jo, I wouldn't worry too much about packing. There are the plan-aheads (Shelly) and there are the last-minutes rolleyes1...... just sayin'). Wouldn't the world be boring if everyone was the same? And no, you don't need another week. You will do it when you're ready, another week or not! I used to say sometimes, "I wish I had one more day to....." But no, that just meant it would be one day later that I was saying, "I wish I had one more day to....."

Although I wouldn't wait TOO much longer to pack.

Well I'm so glad to hear that some clothes actually made it into the suitcases!!

DH threw a wrench into my packing last night! You know how hard I have been trying to squeeze everything into 4 carry-ons and 1 checked bag??? Well I think it is going to work. The trouble is that they are all crammed FULL and very heavy. DH told me to stop being so cheap and plan on taking another checked bag. He thinks that our bags are going to be so heavy and with him not being able to carry and lift them that we should make them lighter. And I guess he's probably right. Even if we get as much help as possible with the luggage, there are still going to be plenty of times that the kids and I are going to have to lift & carry them.

So, I may be doing some REpacking today.....

Well, I'm glad you were adult about it and admitted your DH was right! (something I could use some work in ) I know how you hoped to go with the one checked bag, especially after you worked so hard trying to do the trip up the right way while still finding the best deals out there. That baggage fee is such a rip-off, too. But this is the time to bite the bullet and choose comfort over cost. You'll be glad you did!
