Who's going to be at the Fort for Thanksgiving?

No eating out for us, turkey day at the Fort -we are going to bring our smoker and smoke a turkey and what ever else we can. Also someone is going to fry a turkey for us there. There will be plenty of food, so come on over!!!!

I'll want to see pictures of that Thanksgiving celebration..don't forget to post a few here for us to see.

We're up to fifteen Fiends that will be at the fort for Thanksgiving.
We will be smoking our turkey Thanksgiving morning. All of the other dishes I hope to make and freeze before we travel.
I'm happy to report that my DH was able to fix the convection/microwave oven A fuse had gone out. Now all I need is my RV back from the shop. Still there being repaired from a tire blow out that took out the leveling hydrolic system since the first of July. I don't understand why the shop can't get its act together.

Any other suggestions on a meeting place, date or time?

What time.
We can have a GG at my site, what night is everyone going to be there together? Fri, Sat,Sun?? I have to check calender of the parks and see what night we are going in. We will work around the GG.

We will be there the 20th-28th. I am not sure I am a fiend since this is only our second trip to the Fort, but count us there and we will try to make a gathering whenever it is decided upon. We love the fort just can't get there often enough and I love the disboards. We will be in the 1500or 2000 loop in the pop-up. I am working on a lime green sign to hang on the post. We are eating at Brown Derby that night. Me and my wife had Thanksgiving lunch there in 98' before we had kids and have always wanted to go back.

We are pulling out Saturday morning unless I can add on Saturday to my reservation, but I'm not holding my breath. I'd like to make the GG, so can we meet Thursday evening or Friday evening?

Friday We have diner reservations at 7. We can maybe make Thursday work if that is what is open to everyone else. We have TDay lunch at around 3. We can be around Friday afternoon.

We have Thanksgiving dinner ressies and on Friday we are doing the Candlelight Processional Dinner Package. Other than that we are pretty free. We can at least try to pop in and say hi to everyone. Whatever the final decision is we'll try to fit it in. It would be nice to meet everyone and put faces to the posts. When we are there I'll let everyone know what loop. I can't wait, I may have said that earlier, but every day is worse.

Thursday evening might work. We're possibly heading down towards Tampa to have dinner with some relatives that day, but would be back later on.

I probably can't meet. I know the morning of the 26th wont work since i am leaving then. I will be there with lots of family and I think we have a full schedule for the week.

Thanksgiving evening sounds great to me. I forgot that we also have reservations for the CP at Epcot Friday evening. Now we need to decided on a place and a time.

We'll be camping with the Fort Fiends for the first time for Halloween and then we're back again for Thanksgiving. Can't wait to meet everyone.

Okay well, I am seem to be pretty horrible about doing the meet ups with the gang here as I have only made it once in all the years I have been on the Disboards. But, I will have my Christmas decorated Mickey head light pole with my lime green Fort Fiend sign. So if you happen to be looping around the Fort (mainly in the 1600-1900 loop area this time) please feel free to say hello to me and my two Boston Terriers.
