My family will be heading to WDW on 4/3/2010 and renting a pool home nearby. It will be my family, my 2 sisters and their families. 10 people total.

What has everyone "planned" so far that is going in April 2010? I am a planning NUT and want to make sure I have others that are the same way. :cool1::surfweb::woohoo:

I have a notebook with a page for each month until April showing what I would like to complete on a monthly basis. I've bought all the pool toys (beach balls/floaties/goggles) on clearance. We plan to book the airfare in October...hopefully with Airtran.

Please share what you have completed so far. DH just laughs at me and says "you are so cute!" Inside he's probably calling me crazy!:banana::banana:

I made a countdown with paper chain links for each week for DS10 and DS7. It turned out so cute...but the chain is VERY long...33 weeks.

Please share...

Before I knew the ADR mark was going to change I hadn't thought about it too much but now that's it has changed back to 180 days ( :woohoo: ) I need to kick it into gear. I had previously had 2 other trips to worry about before the April trip but not anymore :scared1: In hindsight though, I would have had to make ADRs for April during our January trip, yuck.

The only things I have planned so far is where:
Beach Club/Boardwalk split stay for 5 nights on April 18-22.

I think I'm going to book airfare after the holiday rush so probably in January.

What do you have in your monthly calendar events so far?

And good job on the chain!!! That sounds really fun, I haven't made one of those in a looooonnnnnnnnng time... brings me back to the good ol' days in school.

My calendar has both WDW and other things on there.

Crazy huh??:scared1::yay:

Let me know if you have any suggestions.

Not, not crazy at all.

One thing though is that you are going during one of the busiest times of year, aside from Christmas/NYE, Easter is the busiest (which is April 4)... so are the surrouding days and the adjacent weeks since they are also a lot of people's spring breaks... how busy? Think, parks close due to capacity midday, especially around that Easter weekend. So if you were planning on eating at TS restaurant, I suggest you get a plan on those because the day you can make those reservations is October 27.

It sounds like a great organized list you have going on :thumbsup2

Thanks for the advise. This is actually our second trip going during Spring Break. Last time we must of planned it right because I don't remember it being to crazy with the crowds.

I'll definitely note on my October page to make any ADRs for dinners. Not sure though. DH is not one on have a full itineray for WDW. With having 4 kiddos with us, I think we might just plan to eat on the go most of the time. That might change though with being so many of us.

Has anyone tried the Kids ID Tattoo's yet? I thought that would be a bit better then doing the bracelets like last time.

We are going next April (well, some of us...). We don't have much planned right now other than where we're staying! We've got a room at Saratoga Springs for 4/2-4/10 but I don't know if we'll stay that long.

Oh yes, I noticed you are from Wisconsin too. Hey to a fellow Wisconsinite! :wave2:

We are going Apr 24 to 30th. Hopefully everyone spring breaks will be over by then. I have been planning this trip since Aug 09. I LOVE Disney, although I can't show my excitement for this trip because my DD9 and DD4 has no idea we are going. It will be a surprise trip. Can't wait to see their faces when we get there.

79 days we will be on a plane to WDW! :cool1:

How is everyone's planning going? I need to finalize our car rentals yet and purchase park passes.

For those being there on Easter, any activities planned that day?
