Who's Going in October 2005??!!*MNSSHP dates & info*

My DH has agreeed - we are going down Oct 20th - thru the following MOnday and will go to MNSSHP on the Friday 21st!!! I am so excited... I can't wait... now to think of what I can dress up as with my dad, mom, and DH ... The decisions!!!!

Lisa, there is a thread on the budget board about keeping kids occupied on long drives. I haven't seen it lately but I'll find it tomorrow and post a link. I bought small cookie sheets and magnets to help occupy my little one. She also loves the magna doodle type toys.

We are going for 3 weeks, Oct 13th - Nov 3rd. 2 weeks AKL, 1 week Polynesian concierge! MNSSHP tickets booked for the 31st October!

Cant wait...our very first Halloween Party!

We did MVMCP on Dec 14th last year and it was so cold we could hardly move...we are hoping for a nice warm night for this party!!

Can't wait!! We are going with our parents, my sister and niece Oct 22- Oct 28. This will be the first for my parents, sister and niece who is 12. We are staying at the CSR. First time there also. We have stayed at the YC & BC before but they had nothing this time. Hope we aren't to disappointed. I can't wait to just spend time with my family and enjoy a magical vacation again.

I do have a questions regarding the MNSSHP? Will MK close early on the 23th, 25th, and 28th? Why do we have to buy another ticket when we already have tickets to the parks? Sorry, this is the first time we've been to WDW at Halloween.

Yes, on party nights, the park will close at 6:00p for those who are not attending the party. You do not have to buy another ticket if you don't want to, you'll just have to leave the park at 6:00p, when the park closes. If you'd like to stay for the party, you'll have to buy party tickets.

This happens every October and December. The park close early anyway during these months so these parties, IMHO, are an added bonus.

Whoo Hoo! Got my MNSSHP tickets!

We're probably going with Pirates of the Carribbean themed costumes on Oct 30th.

Since a few pages back we were discussing dinner options and whether Tony's would be a buffet this was printed on the sheet that came with the tickets:

"While you're enjoying MIckey's Not So Scary Halloween Party, take time to treat yourself to a scrumptious family-style Not So Scary dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern. Prices are just $22.99 plus tax for adults and $10.99 for children ages 3-11. Also enjoy A la cart Diner options at Tony's Town Square Restaurant." Yep, that's how they spelled "a la cart Diner"(?).

So, my dh has surprised me by flaking out on costumes at the party (which really is shocking b/c we go to an annual party each year and he has been Shrek [I was Princess Fiona], Darth Vader [we even did the face under the mask][and I was Yoda], Cher [I was Sonny], the Joker [I was Harley Quinn], etc) but he is really afraid of no one else dressing up - plus he wants to be comfortable.

So I'm thinking instead of getting fun Halloween shirts that aren't too geeky (according to dh). Anyone have any recommendations of websites or stores to get some?

We'll be there too for our honeymoon!!
Oct 3 to Oct 13. Our longest vacation ever but I think it'll be totally worth it.
We are even considering leaving on Oct 2 at night...we'll see. Won't cost that much more - one more night & one more day for the car.

We are staying at CPGV - our first time.

Can't wait!!!!

My ds gave me the mail from a FEW DAYS AGO!!! and the tickets were there!!

Can you imagine my call to Disney next week?? No tickets... *sigh, but I do have a few teenagers hanging around...


(2 Goofy tickets, 2 Mickey Mouse, and 1 Donald Duck... does that mean 2 men, 2 women, and 1 child ticket??)

WOW..... 3 weeks......I am jealous!!!! I will be at the Poly around that time too. I wll be wearing my lime green. I will be on the look out for anyone else wearing it too.
