My family and in-laws will be there Oct.3-Oct.9 at the wilderness lodge. Can't wait to try MNSSHP for the first time! was wondering how crowded this event will be and is it worth the extra money? princess: :earsboy: :earsgirl: princess:

It is so worth the money. We went to 3 parties last year and we will do two this year. Tons of great candy. Hardly any wait times for any rides. Great character meet and greets all over the place. The headless horseman is incredible and the ambience and decorations in the park are awesome. I'm sure there is a thread somewhere with pics from the party but this event is not to be missed.

Here are pics of the story teller and the band:

OK, I have video clips of the band and main street but I'm having trouble setting them up. DH wants to watch a movie so I guess I will figure it out tomorrow. :)

For those of you who don't want to go back through the thread...

There are a few of us who will be there the first week of Oct and we are going to try to do an evening together at Food and Wine Fest.. I am going to start an Oct. meet thread In Aug. or the beg. of Sept. so we can narrow down an evening and meeting place.

That sounds great Ergens2! I'd love to meet for drinks during the first week of October!

We are going Sept 27th thru Oct 2nd, taking our 2 and 4 year old for thier first visit. Staying at the WL and probably the most excited person in the house(I am brainwashing 4 year old DS, today we watched Legend of Sleepy Hollow and he sang all day about Icabod Crane)1st trip since honeymoon and my wife is really starting to "get it" now that we have kids...... :earsboy:

Okay guys what is MNSSHP. Never heard of this and was just wondering. My husband and I are going to have to move our September anniversary trip to October. How long is the wine and food festival also? Where do I find info. on it? When is the best time to go in October? Lots of questions, sorry!

For info on MNSSHP (Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party) check out the 1st page of this thread. :flower:

The Food and Wine Festival dates are: Sept 30-Nov 13

Anytime in October should be fine, as long as you avoid the weekend around Columbus Day. :)

Thanks Mommyboo, that list makes it much easier to see who's there when!

Mommy Boo...nice pics! What kind of camera do you have? I've been looking for one. :earseek: They look so clear with it being dark out.

Ergens2 - that sounds wonderful!! A friend on another message board got married in Feb, invited us all to Texas, 35 of us came!! (one member actually paid for all the booze!! for the entire wedding party, for 5 hours!) She had asked us not to mention we were "internet" friends, just friends... (her now dh met us and knew - she is a teacher!) BUT it was her mom that spilled the beans - she was worried the first meeting she went to in Las Vegas, thinking internet people were either freaks or "axe murderers" you never know :rotfl2:

So now whenever I meet "internet" friends, I usually joke, 'axe murderers are having a convention' LET'S GO!!! :rotfl2:

Just bought MYW + park hopper today!! Now all I have to do is save for food, wine, and souvies!!

Oh, and the tickets to Halloween, we're going Oct 4! princess:

We are excited about going to this now, just not sure which night for us, 11th or 13th!! thanks for all the info so far, keep it coming!! :goodvibes It just seems we picked a great month to Honeymoon, F&WF, MNSSHP wow lots of pixie dust :Pinkbounc WE can't wait!!!

Thanks Tikkipoo! It's a Canon PowerShot G2. We bought it 2 years ago before our first trip. We've taken literally thousands of pictures with it and have been very happy.

And your welcome guys (forgot to say that before). Thanks for all of the kind words.

Can't get the clips to work...I don't know what I'm doing wrong.?.

I am so excited today though  I just got our airline tickets. Flying NWA...first time with them. Hope I'm not dissappointed. Tickets were a little higher than I'd like (186pp), but I am scared to death that they are going to skyrocket with the oil prices! :scared: But, it was still under budget, so that's good anyway! :flower:

I also just bought a digital camer! Cannon A95. It was by the suggestion of another fellow DISer. I am soooooo excited about that!

Heck, you'd think I'm rich by the way I'm spending money this week :rotfl:

Oh, well...its for the greater good of humanity :earsboy: (mine anyway) :p (just dont tell DH)
