Honeymoon pins as in trading pins? are they easily found in the parks or only at select gift shoppes? MY DF is an avid pin trader and she would love that!! :cool1:
I found a few at the pin shop at DTD. And they are not "honeymoon" pins, they are wedding pins. I had a brain fart when I posted. I don't know what I was think! Sorry for the mixup! We got 6 diff. wedding pins from WDW when we went for our 1 yr anniversary.

1-800-828-0228 press 3 for dining

Thanks one and all for sharing the info about the difference between show/dining ressies! My mother is now going to call the Cons. desk at SOG and fill them in! They are the ones who told my folks last week that they could only make HDD ressies 90 days out.

We are so excited for our family trip!!

The plan is for October 3 - 9th. We will be staying at BC and our main focus is Food and Wine. We've done MSSHP a few times and probably won't do that this year. It was fun though.

It will be DH, myself and the kids, DD 15, DS 9 and DS 6. I think October is our favorite time to go.

We will be staying at Universal Studios from September 28th. I can't wait!

Lori

I will be there Oct 6th thru the 11th.staying at okw. Am going with my son who is 30, we will be doing the 10k run. Do not miss the mnsshp. I was there last year with girlfriends, we had a GREAT time. Well worth the xtra cost.

They make you leave at 6:00pm and that is the worst part. Everyone trying to come in too the party and everyone else trying to leave!

We got back to MK around 4:00pm and they let us in and put braclets on us since we had tickets too the party. We went back and let DD ride the Barnstormer over and over again. No one back there. Then at around 6:00 they shut that area down and herded us to Tomorrowland and you have to wait there for the party to start.

It was lots of fun! :earboy2:

My husband asked me the other day if we could "eat in the castle" before the halloween party. What time does CRT start serving dinner? Will it be weird being in full costume and eating there?

We ate at the castle with 2 kids in costume and adults in costumes, halloween tshirts, masks or hats. It wasn't weird at all. It was fun walking out of the castle and seeing the decorations they put up for the party while we were eating.

OK folks! Here it is again! I think I am all caught up. Please let me know if you see any mistakes. :goodvibes

And a :Pinkbounc Bump! :earsboy: :earsgirl: :bounce:

Tickets are expected to go on sale sometime in May; keep checking these boards for info. You can call the main WDW number (don't have it at the moment) or on the WDW website. :)

WOW!!! Thanks for the spread sheet Mommyboo! There are so many of us going in October!!! For those of us going the first week of Oct. would you all like to set up an evening to go to Food and Wine together? I think it would be so much fun to have a DIS evening at Food and Wine! :drinking1 Just throwing the idea out there. Have some good eats with fellow DISney nuts! :mickeybar

A very BIG THANK YOU to MommyBoo for the list...I can't believe how many DISers are going to be there in October! :cheer2:

I agree! As the time draws closer, maybe we can start another thread for each weekend?!? That would be awesome! :drinking1

Sounds good! Maybe the beginning of Sept. I will start a thread to see who is interested! By then Disney should have a list of who will be at the Eat to the Beat concerts and all the activitys going on.

"Eat to the Beat" concerts

hmmm, should I assume this has something to do with F&W? DH is still pouting that my parents are coming, so I have no one buy all y'all to get excited with!! :Pinkbounc

Thanks mommieboo for the updates, for the creation of the spreadsheet!!

I've decided we'll get to POFQ around noon, check in (or not!) eat something light, swim, then get a PS for O'hanas for an early birthday dinner, then head over to MK FOR MNSSHP! We'll just wear Hawaiian outfits!! :cheer2: Maybe I can convince mom and dad to try a Lapu Lapu and they'll have fun riding rides!! :rolleyes1: :rotfl: :rolleyes1

I'm trying to decide if the Illumination "cruise" is worth it? Has anyone experienced it?? We saw illuminations, it was great sitting on the steps, drinking a Champagne, snacking on something chocolate... we had great seats!

I'm game for an evening at Food and Wine. We'll get a sitter, we'll just need to know what night we're looking at. :)

I'm still a big blank spot on the list, since I don't have dates yet. My friend is supposed to be going with me and she's procastinating in deciding on when she wants to go. I'm hoping for the first week of October. I've never been to the F&WF before. :cool1:
