:bride: HONEYMOON!

Sunday, October 23 - Saturday, October 29
Coronado Springs Resort

We are high school sweethearts who have been dating for over 9 years. We will actually be celebrating the 10 year anniversary of our first date on October 28th!

I can hardly stand it! I have been to WDW 3-4 times, but my fiance' has NEVER BEEN. It will be wonderful. I hope you all have a great time!

We plan to have PS's for the following:
Chef Mickey's Breakfast
Yachtsman Steakhouse
Sci-Fi Dine In Theater
Fulton's Crab House

:dancer:
Congrats! I got engaged at the lighthouse in front of the Yacht Club! We LOVE Yachtsmans! My husband was going to propose to me there but he left the ring in the pants he changed out of at the last min.! Our anniv. is Oct 18th! Have a wonderful time!! Make sure to get your "wedding ears" and some honeymoon pins and wear them EVERYWHERE!

How many people are dressing up? I have tshirts for my husband and I that have a mummy on them and the quote "it was only a paper cut"! I wore this last year at my job (I work for an OBGYN) and wrapped my arms, neck, and head with bandages. It was great!!!

MommyBoo...
GREAT JOB on the list. I am shooting for the 18th for MNNSHP.

Hurry up OCT!!!!

Boy my spelling is shot... MNSSHP.... LOL... And the kids will be dressing up. My DS as a dragon, and my Godson will change his mind 100 times before then. I dont think the adults will dress up. I have a cute shirt and hallowwen vest I will wear. If it really hot, we may just get shirts for the kids from Old Navy or something. They have the cutest halloween shirts that time of year.

:)

Do you have to have advance tickets? Does it ever sell out? We for sure want to do this, we are staying at WL Oct 2-7th. Should I buy tickets as soon as I can? Should we eat at Liberty Tavern...is that a special thing during MNSSHP?
Thanks for all of your help! :earsboy:

Honeymoon pins as in trading pins? are they easily found in the parks or only at select gift shoppes? MY DF is an avid pin trader and she would love that!! :cool1:

Hotel plans have changed (for the better).
10/22 to 10/29 POFQ DS11 & Me.
10/29 to 11/3 SOG DS11 DD33 & Me.
11/3 to 11/5 PORS DS11 & Me.
:hourglass Can't wait to be back @ WDW.
Seeing my DD 3 years is way to long.
Need some real good ideas  something nice to do for DD.
She won't let me pay for SOG.
So I'm saving big time.
Was paying $159. + tax @ PORS vs. $76. no tax @ SOG.

Yes it's best to buy tickets in advance. Sometimes tickets do sell out, especially as it gets closer to Halloween. Last year, tickets sold out for the 29th, 31st, and I believe the 8th. So buy your tickets early! :flower: You can purchase them over the phone or on WDW's official website.

We ate at the Liberty Tree Tavern before the Christmas Party and this year will be eating there before the Halloween Party. Once you receive your confirmation number from your tickets, you call call the WDW dining number and make a priority seating for the Liberty Tree Tavern.

The meal is served family style. You'll get salad with a strawberry dressing (my favorite), rolls with honey butter, flank steak, pork, turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, honey glazed carrots, mac and cheese, and stuffing and drinks. For dessert there's apple cobbler with vanilla ice cream. The characters are dressed up in Halloween costumes and go around the restaurant and take pictures, etc. The character interaction is great and it's a lot of fun!

A lot of this thread is about MNSSHP. DH and I have no interest in Halloween. What parks close early for this event? Or what else do I need to know that will affect our trip if we won't be attending.

The Magic Kingdom will close at 6pm. :)

My husband asked me the other day if we could "eat in the castle" before the halloween party. What time does CRT start serving dinner? Will it be weird being in full costume and eating there?

We'll be there October 15-23. Port Orleans Riverside is our place! :cool1: DH, DD and I. This is our second trip and probably our last...DH just doesn't get it. :confused3 But he's doing it for me and DD  (I think he secretly wants to go, just doesn't want to admit it) :rotfl: I've made ressies for Hoop Dee Doo on the 19th and hope to do MNSSHP on the 16th. I am so very excited!

Hi Tikkipoo and other October travelers!

We are taking a family trip October 15 - 24. Staying at SOG will be my family (DH, DD, DS and me) my sisters family (DSis, DBIL, DN, DN) and our folks. Can't wait for the golf tourney!!!

Tikki, I am wondering how you got your HDD ressies so early!!!??? We want to do this as a big family meal one night and I thought you had to wait for 90 days out. What's your secret???

Mind if I jump in? There's no secret...I'm pretty sure you can snag HDD 2 years in advance. Because it's a show and not a dinner, it's under different rules. Same goes for Luau!

Better get on it! :teeth:

You can book HDDR two years in advance.

I'm thinking of booking it for our first night, October 1. :wizard:

HDD can be booked up to 2 yrs in advance. So feel free to call anytime to set in up!
