We Are We Are!!!!!

We'll be splitting our trip between Universal and Disney.

Oct. 21-Oct.24 We'll be at HRH at Universal
Oct. 24-Nov.1 We'll be at POFQ

Last year we were on our honeymoon and had such a great time at HHN, MNSSHP and F&W Festival we decided that we would do it again (but this time we're bringing the girls and my mommy.

I'm looking forward to seeing my Tatianna's (she'll be 2 by then) reaction when she sees Pooh and Mickey for the first time, I'm looking forward to dressing up the girls for the MNSSHP and at risk of sounding like a pig...I'm excited about the dining plan because we're going to try some rest. that we normally wouldn't go to.

I don't want to tell DIS'ers how to spend their vacation, or money for that matter, but if you are going to be in DW during the MNSSHP period, I urge you to scrape together the cash, set up a lemonade stand this summer, check under the sofa cushions for loose change. get a paper route, whatever, just experience it at least once. You won't be disappointed.

We'll be staying in a 2-bdr villa at Saratoga Springs (courtesy of our DVC) 15-21 October. We're planning on going to the Party for the Senses at the F&W Festival on 15 Oct and MNSSHP on 18 Oct. We are dressing up as The Incredibles...Mr and Mrs Incredible, Dash (our 6-yr-old DS) and Violet (our 4-yr-old DD)

It will be our first MNSSHP and F&W Festival. We're so excited.

Pop Century..

Family vacation...10 of us!

The best thing about this trip, being with my Niece and Nephew (5 & 2) See everyone in October!!!

We will be there from October 6-15.

We will be staying 9 fun-filled nights at the Polynesian. Our first time to stay there!!

Another first for us will be going in October and going to MNSSHP. We can hardly wait!!!

I can't wait to see how the Magic Kingdom looks for the party. If it's anything like MVMCP, I will be so EXCITED!!!!!!

We will be going Oct. 23-Oct. 29th for our 10th Anniversary. We went for our Honeymoon and decided 10 years deserves another trip to the Magical World of Disney. My mom is going to come with us and has volunteered to watch our 7 year old on our actual anniversary night while we hopefully will be going to La Nouba. She will also be letting her stay in a room with her.


Thanks for the heads up on the MNSSHP it works out perfect so that we can arrive on Sunday mid-afternoon and still spend an evening at MK. I just got my new Ipod engraved with "DISNEY GIRL" I just can't help but bubble about everything Disney and dh is tired of hearing about it.

Hey, the lemonade stand was DD's idea...not mine! Does that count for the child labor laws if you're using it for aDisney World vacation???

Oct 21-29th for us. There will be 8 of us at SSR. It'll be me, DH, DS's(12 & 14), my parents, sister and brother in law. Can't wait for MNSSHP and Food and Wine again this year. Last year was a blast!!

I have big plans for October too! We will be going for 14 nights, although I can't decide if it would be better to go in early October or the second half of the month? See I'm worried about the weather during the early part of Oct. and the crowds during the second half. We went for our very first trip in November of last year and the weather was just beautiful, sunny and hot but not humid at all ! We want it like that again ! Don't mind a little bit of rain or wind but just a bit, no more. Most rides were practically walk on's too last November, very cool . We want to do MNSSHP and are really excited! Haven't booked anything but reading this thread it seems the time is now! Yikes!

But the cool thing is, I do believe, I hope and I pray, that we are going! In October! Sometime... And of course, we will be staying at our beloved Pop Century!

jkovick I guess it was really crowded for you then? Did you do a trip report? I am leaning to early October now, perhaps even a few days at the end of Sept. just to get a week of value rate at the Pop. Just scouring the Dis for trip reports during that time to help me make my mind up. I wonder what the AP discount will be, if any? Sure would love that buy 3 get 5 deal they had last year!!
