Wow, your 3rd F&W Festival and 2nd MNSSHP! I'm jealous. We're going to our 1st F&W Festival and 1st MNSSHP. We can't wait!!

You'll love it! We went on Halloween night last time and it was a blast! Crowded, but a blast! THe F & W is great too and the first time I was surpised at how many different foods my kids tried. And liked.

Count us in!! We will have 4 families going on the DCL 10/22/05-10/29/05. We will probably be doing a "girls & kids only" park trip the week before the cruise. 2 families have been to MNSSHP before, while 2 haven't (namely me! ). We are sooo looking forward to it!!!

October 5-9 here. DH and I love October and really enjoyed the Food & Wine Festival last year (potato pancakes & sauerkraut ––*YUM!!). We're staying in our first ever all-onsite trip at POFQ.

Now we're trying to decide if we want to rent a car or just use the Express service and have an all-Disney experience; however, I like hitting the Chelsea Premium Outlet and we inevitably need something from Walgreens, so we'll probably rent a car anyway.

DH & I will be there October 2-7, staying at SSR. We will be celebrating our 23rd Anniversary (a little early - anniversary is the end of the month, but DH can't take off of work at that time) Looking forward to F&W Festival and MNSSHP.

what is the weather typically like in orlando mid march? we will be there 18-23 and i would love to know what type of clothing to pack. shorts/short sleeves or pants/long sleeves? i see us taking a lot of both and i dread the unpacking once we get home!

We'll be there Oct. 1st thru 8th. Staying at Port Orleans Riverside - hopefully in Alligator Bayou.

I'm most looking forward to the total magical immersion in Disney. I need an escape from the real world for a while. It's been a rough year. Bought our first house, turned out to be a big time fixer upper, lost my great-uncle and my grandfather 3 days apart in December, and worst of all lost my dad very suddenly on Christmas Eve.

I need to get back to my "happy place"! And we're bringing friends this time so it should be even more fun!

We leave for our MG trip of 17 on Oct 29. Glad no one is going then!!! No lines!

Hey Dizzy- Are you using the MG program to plan your trip? I have tried it but I am having such a hard time with it?
I too am hoping that the last week will be slow but I know better!

Hi Samantha,
No, I didn't like the program. It wasn't taylored to my needs. I just e-mail the family and let them know when things are moving. We see them frequently and the closer we get, the more the kids talk about Disney. My 5 year old niece won't stop talking about it!

Also, with 17 of us ranging from 2 1/2 to 65, it's tough to plan too much. We are pretty much planning 1 big meal together and just days at the park. Can't please everyone all the time.

I think I read in another thread that a lot of schools have their fall breaks in the beginning to middle of October. Maybe that's one of the reasons?

This isn't something new though, right? We were there last year Oct 2-8 and it didn't get crowded until the weekend (by that time we were thankfully hightailing it outta there).

I probably am. Most likely staying at POFQ (although I might stay at POP again). I don't have dates yet. I'll keep you posted.

We will be there, the 15th to the 23rd! Staying at the BWV. Just decided to go last week. I'm so excited, haven't told the kids yet. We had orginally not planned to go till 2006, so I'm gonna wait and spring it on them as it gets closer.
