Who's Going in October 2005??!!*MNSSHP dates & info*

We went mid-Oct. last year and doing the same this year, it worked out great both in weather and crowds. I'm not sure if it would have a huge effect on the crowd factor, but the Funai Golf Classic takes place at the Palm and Magnolia courses from Oct. 17-23, and this is a pretty big PGA tournament. We didn't even know about it last year, but luckily booked the week before, and did the same this year.

A little off topic here, but does anyone have a link to what historic October hours are? Just curious as to how much pool time we can be expecting.

Thanks!

First...the perspective dates are under the Events category here on this website. They haven't "officially" been released yet, but they are sure to be the dates. Tickets go on sale in April/May sometime.

Second...you can find last years times here on this website too. Go to Park Hours category and go to October. You'll find them there.
:cheer2: Hope that helps!

Thank you :worship:

I will be staying at the WL in a 2BR on Oct 15-Oct 21. It will be the 1st trip to Disney for my friend Sonny (age 36) and I am very excited to share in his enjoyment. I know he is going to love it. :teeth:

G00fydad, just couldn't resist, could you?

Although the dates for the 2005 MNSSHP have not "officially" been released to travel agents and the general public, the dates posted on WDWINFO are correct and were provided by Disney.

Please do not allow posters who have personal issues with this information based on their own inability to get the information through other sources to confuse the issue.

If we can get into OKW at the 7 month mark, I'm hoping for a short trip, Oct. 1-3. I really really really enjoy MNSSHP!

No personal issues on this. The dates here are probably correct... I just simply think that if the dates are going to be posted before Disney even sets them themselves that they should say that they are "probable" or "presumed" dates. And please do not say again that the info was given on an "under the table" or "reliable" source. Because those are the only dates anyone can find anywhere (unless they have been copied from here onto another site). Travel agents within the Orlando area dont even have the dates yet. A Disney supervisor actually laughed when asked about the dates and told that a website (did not mention what site) had the dates posted. They said that it was hard to believe that some website has the dates when they do not even have them themselves yet.

Now, I didn't intend to start another witch hunt here (you didnt have to reply with the comment you did. I was just thanking the OP.) so lets just drop this before it gets out of hand. We know each others stand on the issue and if you really feel like you need to say something else on the subject then PM me. Just like all moderators tell everyone else to do. :)

My comments were not for you, they were an attempt to mitigate the confusion that is created when misinformation is posted.

I could either post my clarification, or remove your misleading posts.

Oct 22-29, BWV.

First thought that popped in my head... It's not August (last trip, Aug 2003)!

We will be there Oct 21-30 (or longer if DH gets his way :) ) at the CR Tower. DH has wanted to stay there since he was a kid!

It will be our third Food & Wine Festival and our second MNSSHP! DH's aunt will join us for part of the trip and I've got a lot of fun surprises planned for all!!
