We loved the MVMCP parade so I am looking forward to that! Our disabled 8 yr old is still frightened of the costumed characters but does enjoy the parades when we go and the rides!

No you don't sound like an idiot. MNSSHP stands for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. Check out the first post of this thread for more information!

Mickey's "not" so scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom. Separate ticket event. Sounds like loads of fun, this will be our first. Everyone dresses up and kids get to trick or treat. We can't wait!

?anyone know when they officially come on sale? I assume it's better to go mid week or on a week night right for crowd control etc i'm looking at 16th 18th or 21st we are going Oct 14-23 thanks Kathy

digskat those are our dates too. We are thinking of doing the 18th MNSSHP. We are considering waiting on buying our tickets until we get there as we would prefer to do a night without rain. I know that there isn't a lot of rain in October, but I'm thinking why chance it. From what I have read mid month doesn't usually sell out.

We are going Oct. 1 to Oct. 10 and will be at Dixie Landings. We can't wait! We will be celebrating our ds 5th birthday while there.

We're (we? ha!) planning our trip for 22-29. Staying at CSR and can't wait. I was not planning on doing MNSSHP as DD7 is not a big Halloween fan. Just how "scary" are the character's costumes? Sounds like it's a must do and I'd hate to miss it.

Well it is call the Not So Scary yada yada party. I barely noticed the costumes to tell you the truth. My dd at 5 didn't have a problem.
