Who's Going in October 2005??!!*MNSSHP dates & info*

It can be hard when you travel with the laid back folks. My parents like to "play everthing by ear". I like to pick out which park to do on which day and plan meals. This time my mom has been more invloved but my dad still says "whatever you want". I'm very excited this year because it's our first time for MNSSHP and Food and wine festival. It required more planning.

40 days and counting....... :cool1:

I started a thread in the resorts forum for those that are going to be at Pop the first week of Oct. I'm just soooo excited about my first stay on-site :goodvibes

DH asked if we could go to WDW October 13-18th and how could I say no? We'll be at All Star Movies.

I'm most looking forward to taking my almost 3 year old daughter to her first Princess Lunch. Couldn't get CRT (but will keep trying) but we did get in at Akershus. She is going to love it!!!!

I bet taking a three year old would be fun. They still believe in everything. DD is 7 now and she's at the breaking point. Mickey etal is either robots or people dressed up, but the princesses are real, as is the castle. :rotfl2: They grow up so quick!

Friday, Oct. 21 durring our honeymoon!

I'm really looking forward to seeing the Headless Horseman. That sounds so cool!!!

I see I'm not alone in having "a lack of enthusiasm DH". They'll all have a better vacation with us pre-planners around, won't they?

My DH was initially unenthusiastic, but it seems he may be getting on board!! :love2: Anyway, my DD and I count down how many days we have left every morning - 46 and counting! :cool1:

Me, my DH, DD (8), & DS (4) are going to be at WDW on Oct. 12-14 we are staying at Pop Century and are visiting MK on the 12th and MGM on the 13th! YEAH Cant wait! 2 days is better than nothing :earsgirl:

 Is it time to DANCE yet??

I have to come in and tell someone.... yesterday was our 24th  wedding anniversary - last year we were in Disney....

Do you know how hard it was not to say something to the resteraunt we ate in??? :rotfl2: (and I saw someone get a cupcake with a candle in it, so I thought, hmmm, but it just wouldnt be as "magical" so we went back to the hotel..

:wizard: Now for the hotel, I did do a Priceline bid early Monday - and got a 4* resort Marriott for $70 - I did say something at checkin (mostly because internet buyers are sometimes frowned on) THEY UPGRADED US!!

I still wanted to be in Disney!! :teeth: wont be long now!!

We are staying at Pop Oct 8-14, we may see you there!! My DD is also 8!

I agree that the Headless Horseman will be very cool! I have to read up on where and what time to see him. I am also looking forward to the Food and Wine and Epcot! I can't wait! This is a surprise trip for my Dh so I have no one to talk to! It is killing me! 40 days to go! :hourglass but who's counting?

You know I want to start a thread or two -

1. Party of the Senses Oct 8 - who else?

2. POR 1st week of October - anyone?

but I'm fairly sure no one will post!! :wizard:

Well, I've been talking to my boyfriend for months now about MNSSHP. Over the weekend I was talking about what parks we were going to do and when and he said "Well, aren't we going to the Halloween party thing?" He decided that after all the talk I was doing about it, he really wants to go! :Pinkbounc  I'm so excited! This will be the first one we've been to. His brother, SIL, and nephew are all celebrating their birthdays from end of September through mid-Nov., so we bought tickets for them to go to the party with us as their birthday presents. We're all looking forward to going so much!!

We bought tickets for Oct. 27th (Thursday), because that's what worked best into our schedule. Hopefully it won't be TOO crazy that night. None of us are really big into wearing costumes, so we won't be dressing up either. I think I'm just going to wear one of my Old Navy Halloween shirts or something like that. I'm just so excited that we are going!!! :Pinkbounc

we will be at POR oct 1-5 see you there :cool1:

33 days and counting down :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

To clarify: My DH is enthusiastic about going to wdw as long as he doesn't have to plan or listen to all of my plans for 8 mo. He's getting into the vacation mode finally, asking questions and acting like he never heard the answer months ago when I planned it. I guess it was that selective hearing thing lol.

I haven't planned for the mnsshp yet. If we go, we'll be there on Oct 2nd and buy the tickets then. The cm that I talked to said I'd have no problem getting them that day so I'm taking that chance. We'll do some kind of t-shirts if we go so I'm not worrying about a costume.

If I wasnt' so busy, I'd be dancing!

My family will be staying at POR from Sept. 30-Oct. 6! We can't wait. I am taking my daughter (6) and my nephew (9). My nephew has never experienced anything like disney so we can't wait! We have tickets to the MNSSHP oct 2. Haven't decided on costumes yet.

Does anyone know what nights spectro will be on?

Spectromagic will be on Saturday, Monday, and Wednesday at 8pm. :)

Tricia, we have almost the same schedule! we'll be there from the 21st to the 30th! and doing MNSSHP on the 27th!!!! :Pinkbounc although we are planning on the costumes...

DH saw this Goofy costume in Disney Direct and I just got it for him and a couple of things for DD's using all the stackable codes on this thread http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=893134 and that add up to a 30% discount! :disrocks: :disrocks:

I subscribed to this thread a while ago however I haven't post much because I'm still afraid the trip will be cancelled for some reason or the other... but everything seems to be falling in place.... yesterday we got the visa for our DD1, we already have flight tickets, MNSSHP, our due date to pay for the resort is sep 6th so we will be making the payment anytime soon.... I'm sooooooooooooo excited that I can barely think of anything else but being on vacation!!!!    :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

It is only 48 days.... :cool1: :cool1:
