We'll be there December 14th-16th.
We've been trying for several years now to get to
Disneyland at Christmastime, but there's always something that stops us (one year we even booked a trip then I got laid off my job the NEXT DAY! Another year, we had to spend $2000-$3000 on a new transmission, eating up our vacation $) So we usually end up going in the spring (once the tax return has come through, that is...)
I went with my mom and siblings at Christmastime way back in 1989, but this is the first year my wife and 3 kids will be able to experience it (and with things like HMH and IASW Holiday, it'll be a totally new experience for me as well).
This has been a pretty good year for us financially, and with my wife being a
Disney Store employee, we got a great rate at the Disneyland Hotel (not to mention she gets in free with her employee passes).
We're not telling the kids until the day we leave. They are seriously going to freak out. Because we already went in April of this year, we're not as concerned with seeing EVERYTHING--we just want to be sure to see everything CHRISTMAS (and of course Toy Story Mania and Sleeping Beauty Castle, which hadn't opened yet)
See you folks there!
