Our family will be there from July 31st to August 6th. We're staying Poly GV Concierge. Using the AAA discount right now. Hoping for a AP code and maybe I'll switch it to LV Concierge as a surprise to the wife and kids! Can't wait!!!!!!

I think it's fun to walk around Downtown Disney and visit Ghiradelli chocolate if you are having a resort day (non-theme park). As for theme park food...I love the dole whips at MK, Cinderella's castle for lunch and the ice cream soft serves at Animal Kingdom in Asia

I just booked our vacation!!! We will be staying at CBR August 24 - August 31. I cannot wait! We are taking the auto train this time. My DS's love it. I am having DW withdrawal. I need my fix of Mickey and Minnie.

The weather is going to be hot. But we go every year in August. We're from NJ and it's not much different from home at that time of year.

Go to the thread for CSR. I'm not sure about that resort. I'm CBR crazy.

I'm taking DS 10 on a surprise trip (I've always wanted to do this) August 11-17. We're staying at CSR on a AAA rate at the moment. Hoping for AP rates, in which case we may do a split stay at AKL for just a night (just to see how it is).

I added one more day and changed from YC standard room to YC Concierge. We'll be there from 8/9 - 8/16. Now, all of the sudden, my DH and babysitter want to come too. Babysitter will be there 8/9 - 8/13 and DH will be there 8/13 - 8/15. Funny, I upgraded to Concierge because I was going to do this trip alone with my 3 kids and thought I could really use the convenience of staying CL. Now everyone wants to come.

i just booked CSR yesterday and i was able to get a room for 8/12-817 no problem. strange. i would call Walt Disney Reservations and recheck availability. things can change quickly. good luck. either way you will love wherever you are im sure.
