I have good news and bad news.

The good news is I'm going to Disneyland!!!

The bad news is I have to cancel CKC.

To make a long story short, DH's only vacation weeks this year conflict with CKC, so there's no way I could go away with him and do this too. So I am so bummed that I won't get to be there with all of you, but 10-12 days in sunny California will have to be my consolation prize.

I want to hear all the details and stories, though, and see pictures!

Aside from Disneyland, we'll do San Diego, Hollywood, some beaches - I'm still trying to figure everything out.

I like the idea of a flat NEE. I actually have a little experience with that - most of you don't know about my little friend Avandaryl (and those that do think I'm certifiable.)

Avandaryl (Vandy) is our work mascot - a little orange bendy guy that travels with any of us that is going anywhere interesting. We used to make flat Avandaryls if there were conflicting trips. But that was before the great cloning experiment... Now there are multiple Vandys. And this guy gets around. Maybe Vandy could go to CKC in my place.
