Who's going 4th July week??

How is the view of the fireworks from Ohana's ?? Do they play the music ? Can't decide where to go on the 4th of July. Did Epcot last year....don't know what to do with the 10 of us this year!! Suggestions welcome !!

We got a middle table last Feb during wishes- it was breathtaking even though we weren't at the window- they dim the lights and play the music and it feel like it is just for you- I loved it! I am dying to see what time the fireworks will be as we have an 8:00 hoping that is late enough! Otherwise we will be eating really slow :rotfl: Other ideas are to spring for the party at california grill or a meal at GF not my fav- good luck!

We will be there July 2-9. DH's bday is July 4 and my brother's bday is July 8...so we have lots to celebrate whether it is crowded or not. We have a PS at Ohana for our party of 8. I have no idea if we will be able to hang out on Poly's beach to wait for the fireworks, but that is the plan right now.

We'll be at POR July 1-9 this year. It is a crowded time of the year, but we can't wait. We will be doing Sea World on the 4th. We would love to go another time of year, however when your DH works at a place where the plant shuts down on that week - well, that is when you have to take vacation!

We are going to go and love it. No matter what the crowds are.

Looks like a lot of us will be at POR!!! See you at the pool :flower:

We'll be there June 27th-July 3rd CSR, July 3rd- July 7th at the Poly. The plan is to stay away from the parks on the 4th and enjoy the fireworks from the beach at the Poly! Mimimom :wave2:

We are going 6/29 - 7/6 staying at POR! Although we've been there several times, never over 4th of July weekend. We're assuming it will be crowded, hot and humid, but we'll be in WDW! Spending the 4th in MK - breakfast at Crystal Palace and dinner at Tony's! :cool1:

JKLLady - maybe we'll see you at the airport! :goodvibes

I CAN'T WAIT TO GO!!!! :Pinkbounc

I will be there. Patiently waiting for the fireworks. Not planning on doing much that day but people watch.

We'll be there, too! 6/26-7/3 ASSp, then 7/3-7/8 OKW. I think we'll try Epcot on the 4th. We've never been to WDW on the 4th before. I don't mind the crowds as much as the lightening!

We'll be there July 2-9. I was entrapped by DH asking DD if she wanted to go to WDW for her 10th B-day (7/7). Sheesh, how do you get out of that one and not look like the meanest mom ever? We were there 3 years ago, and I figured we wouldn't be going back for a few more years. I was kinda hoping to do London and Paris this summer or maybe Yellowstone, but now I'm really excited about doing Disney again.

The thing is, when I booked the flights and made reservations at the Swan it hadn't even dawned on me we were going to be there on the fourth. I admit, I did panic for a while. I hate crowds and that was the way eveyone described the fourth - CROWDED! So, I've made a Fantasmic dinner res at Hollywood and Vine for that day. That way we can have fireworks and hopefully avoid the full-on mob scene I keep picturing in my head. We're definitely doing park hopper passes too. This way we can beat a retreat if the park we're at is too out-of-hand.

Our big day will be the 7th. We're doing the Family magic tour in MK (even the 19 year old brother), and having dinner at 1900 Park Fair. The night before we have a Wishes B-day cruise leaving from CR. This should be a birthday my little princess will never forget.

See you there!

:bday: :cake: :bday:

We will be there July 2 thru July 10 at POR. First time to spend 8 nights at Disney and we can't wait. It will be me, DH, DD 17 and DD11.

JENR812 - where your green ribbon, maybe we will see each other at the pool. I have a 11 year old Jessica too.

We are arriving at POR on the 4th & staying until the 11th. We are having dinner at Chef Mickey's on the 4th. :)

We'll be there from June 15 and leaving on July 5. We know it will get busier as time gets closer to the 4th, but figure by then we'll have done most of what we wanted. We don't plan to do any parks on the fourth, but just enjoy the Poly beach and the fireworks that are supposed to be fantastic! See you there :teeth:

We are in a similar situation as you, nocnurse. We will be celebrating my dd's 8th birthday in WDW on July 7th. We will be at POR 7/5-7/11/05. Once my DH put the idea into dd's head, how could I say "no"? We have always gone to WDW in October or January, so we are expecting the worst as far as crowds and heat. I have warned my three dd's (I also have 9 year old twins), that it will be crowded, hot, and that we will swim alot! They are very excited! I am having a great time planning a trip with so many night-time options! Most of the parks close pretty early in Oct. and Jan. (although you can't beat MNSSHP for a great night!). :flower:
