10+ IN of white gold here in ski country today and its still snowing!! Only a little now though.... DH has been up since 1AM plowing and sanding! Its super heavey and sticky - should make for great skiing this weekend!! BUt honestly, I am rready for spring! I very much enjoyed the 54 degree weather last week!!

And I'm still the lone one from Rochester!! We have approx 30,000 population. There's got to be someone else!! ( I did grow up in Somersworth though).

I grew up in Rochester and most of my family still lives there. I am actually a part time resident still - I stay with my mother on the days I have to physically go to my office instead of telecommuting.

Another nice day here in the mountains but more snow coming tomorrow. I was at Disney last week (Feb 8 to 14) and the weather was gorgeous. Made me so ready for spring to get here!

My kids were actually walkign around going 'we're hot'. I told them they could be shivering . We drove down and back. It was weird because there was like no snow until mid Mass. And now there is a good foot and half outside my door. I keep saying that last week we were sitting by the pool, and tomorrow I will be shoveling
But it was nice to come home and show off a little bit of sun in our cheeks to our completely ghost looking friends

We were at the Beach Club. My DD and I managed to use Stormalong Bay for swimming. It was closed for rehab early in the week but re-opened temporarily on Friday for the holiday weekend. Awesome pool. We also used the quiet pool near our villa. It is just great to us to be in an outside pool in February! And walking around in shorts sweating is certainly different.

DH is outside now pulling snow off the roof to get ready for the foot or so we are expected to get today. I'm heading to the grocery store for the usual weekly shopping. Spring just can't get here fast enough this year.

Hi from snow covered Newport. It is coming down at a good clip. Looking out the window at the thermometer it looks like about 33*. DH is out snowmobiling and trying get in as much as he can. He is hoping for a lot of snow this time. Hopefully we won't lose power and have to use our new generator. "I don't do winter". If this storm goes into tomorrow morning I don't know if the roads will be plowed early because our schools are on vacation. Who else is on vacation?

I'm a bit north of Concord, and it just started here. And I do mean Just...

DH and I just got back from our local pizza place and re-measured. It is now up to 4 1/2". Real time is 6:30pm. We were also watching WMUR and Mike Haddad said the worst is yet to come including heavy winds. I guess we will see.

Another lovely NH morning and more snow to shovel! Thankfully the kids are off from school this week, so I don't have to drive anywhere this morning and can take my time on the driveway and walkways.

It rained most of the day yesterday and then when I had finally given up on it ever snowing, it started around 7pm. Sheesh!

My DD is sleeping late on yet another snow day. Because we are a resort area, we follow the Massachusetts vacation schedule and the kids were out last week. So if you count the week we kept her out for Disney, this is her eleventh day of no school (not counting weekends). She'll be busy for the rest of the week!

It is still snowing hard here in the mountains although I hear it is raining in the southern part of the state.
