Who's doing the "mom" contest that was announced?

I just entered too. I was not very creative but that is hard with 300 words. I was just honest and direct. I would love to be and advisor for Disney. I'm always on DIS or TGM anyway. Good luck Disney Moms

Absolutely!!! The 100 word limit was tough but if I was the one reading the entries--I would be thankful for the limit! Good luck to all who entered. I truly believe a disser will have to make their panel!!

The questions are:

In 100 words or less, tell us a little about you.

In 100 words or less, tell us about your family.

In 100 words or less, tell us why you should bean advisor on all ther is to see and do at WDW resort.

Tough to do in so little space, but I gave it my best shot!

I would want to go with the angle being a large family and all, but I am way too busy as it is.

I applied my angle was being a large family (4 children 8 and under) that has went once a year for the past 5 years I have helped 6 families plan their trips this year alone because I am such a Disney freak!

I will probably apply, but I must admit I'm disappointed that the trip for the winners is for "you and 3 guests" and not a trip for your family. I'm sure many people applying - like me - will have more than 4 in their family and will have to either not go or shell out extra $$$ to take the whole family along.

I don't understand about the 3 guests either, why not immediate family? Also, I hope that those who are selected have access to the Disney's formal policies on topics. This would really help with some of the confusion about things.

Did anyone else notice that it said that you must be available to travel December 8-12? Would that be for training if you won, or would that be when you and your three guests would get their free trip? I entered also. OH I HOPE THEY PICK ME!!!!!!!!

I entered, but unfortunately after submitting the application, I realized our disney account is under my husband's name. He just got an email thanking him for his application and that he will be notified if he is selected.

So, I guess he is now entered to be a Disney Mom!

That happened to me too. I am an English teacher and had planned it all out. I was not happy to have to combine words into contractions (ex. I am = I'm). I teach my students not to use contractions in their writing and I had to just to make it fit. Oh, what we do for the love of Disney!!!
