Who's buying Lost, The Complete Collection tomorrow?

I know I'm going to be bawling in six months when it's on sale for 1/4 of what it is now and has even more extras added to it, but for now I'm pretty excited.

I am. I've been waiting all summer. I've already seen the additional 12 minutes (it leaked online a few weeks ago). It answered a few more questions. As to the ending, I thought it was the best ending to a tv series that I have ever seen.

Where are you getting yours at? I haven't had a chance to check out which store is selling it cheapest, or with extra goodies. I did see that Best Buy is going to be selling t-shirts as well.

Not me either, I wasn't a fan of the series at all. I may however add it to my netflix queue to give it another try.

I already have Seasons 1-5 on DVD...so I guess I should only purchase Season 6, but I really want the whole collection set with the extra goodies....but at $140 it would not be a smart move.....I just hope the extra video footage is the same...I can forgo the neat box, game, ect...but I want the extra footage and bloopers!!

Just in a little price checking it looks like Walmart and Best Buy will have the best prices (148). I didn't know that about the shirts, so I might check out BB tomorrow. Barnes & Noble will have them for about $10 more.

However, my husband and I watched the entire series on DVD--in fact we only started watching Lost about two years ago, and we had not followed any of the stories/publicity about the series before that. I wonder if our reaction to the ending would have been different if we had invested seven years like everyone that watched it on the network from the beginning. We just assumed they were in Purgatory--we had no idea that the producers had denied that as a theme years before.

You do know that they were not in purgatory while on the island. That really happened and they were alive. The producers weren't lying. All the flashbacks and flash forwards really happened. It was only the flash sideways in the final season that took place in "purgatory".

I already have seasons 1-5, the last one has been on pre-order from Amazon since December. I hope the put all the extras on there because I'm not buying the set too.

I liked the ending too. I thought it was brilliant. Lost has always had aspects of religion and science throughout. So the ending didn't bother me at all.

I watched Lost from the very first episode without ever missing an episode but somehow missed the finale and the DVR didn't record it either! I still don't know what happened entirely.

I'll probably get it eventually, but I really didn't like the ending. It doesn't even bother me that some things I really wanted to know weren't answered. I just absolutely hated the sideways timeline and the finale.

I got the collection! Wow, the box set it's in is really nice. I can't wait to actually sit down with the discs and watch the bonus features!

I'm holding off on the additional 12 minutes until my daughter gets to watch Season 6 with me. She only just got into Lost this summer when I decided to rewatch the entire series. She's hooked too, and is writing some fan fic stories to go with the series.

Just got home with it. Don't forget to use the included black light to decipher the clues. They lead to something.

Also got the Oceanic Airlines t-shirt. My inner geek is screaming in delight right now.
