Just had to change my dates from 10/11-10/18 to 9/27-10/4. Can those of you who have been there in late Sept. give me an idea of what to expect as to weather, and crowds? How long can we expect to wait for some of the more popular rides? Kids are 12, 10 & 6 if it matters.

Husband hates lines and I hate heat!

We went on almost these exact dates last year. It still can get pretty hot and humid during this time frame, but not as bad as the July - August periods. There were a few showers, but they usually only lasted about 10-15 minutes; nothing substantial.

The longest we waited for a ride was 20 minutes and that was on The Great Movie Ride. There can be some 20-45 minute waits on more popular rides, but just use the Fast Pass and you'll have no problem. For the most part, the wait times are not significant- we walked on several rides in about 5 - 10 minutes. The key to long lines is Fast Pass!

Good luck!

:sunny: We were in DisneyWorld the last week of September 2003 and we had a great time. The longest we waited in line was less than 1 hour and that was for Space Mountain. All other wait times were less than 30 minutes.

Now for the weather-- it was pretty warm but not nearly as hot as April. We really liked our September trip last year, but this year we moved it back a little and will be in DisneyWorld October 12-19, 2004.

Hope you have a great trip.:Pinkbounc :bounce:

hello,

we were there last year the last week of sept, first week of oct and couldn't believe the ghost town the parking lots were.. it was kinda freaky... we walked onto everything, not one ride had a wait, never used fp. we always go the third week of oct for our anniversary, but hubby's aunt had to use her timeshare before 10/05/03 so we went in september.. ok, so i lied, tower of terror had a 45 min wait and that was only because one side was not working at that time.. sorry..... walked onto tower of terror 3 times in a row!!!

my husband even said that we should just go back every year in sept because no one else was there!!! looks like we will be battling the crowd this year, oh well, any line is better than being at work!!!!
