Wholesale-travel /Palms

Hi everyone, this is my first time here.

We are a large group and are planning to travel from Houston to orlanda on July 14th.

We are getting an excellent deal with Palms located about 2 miles from Disney. The only catch is that they need for us to attend a seminar in one of days we stay up there. We are skeptical on the ramifications and how we should go about it.
Any one has experience with this place.

The other option is taking a 4 br home about 15 minutes away.

Also, the other question I had was taking an afternoon break (noon) from the park and returning back around 5 pm. Would we have to re purchase our parking ticket and how much time would we lose by doing this.

We did the exact thing last year. We did not even know it was a time share deal until the end of the phone call when we were making our reservation. I was kind of shocked but then said - what the heck - and gave it a try. It really was a nice place. When you check in a person follows you to your condo and makes sure you are familiar with how it all works. The place is very very nice and you will really enjoy it. I do not know what you are paying but we paid $89 for the 3 bedroom condo (this was pre 9/11)
The presentation was not bad but it got a little tense when their time was up and I said no thanks and the agent said "hold on, let me get my manager" I was not about to sit around and get caught up in any sales tactics! I told them the presentation was over. So they said goodby very nicely.
Overall a great place.
