I'm pushing for Holly Hunter as Delswife for some reason...And it would be only fitting for Dale Earnhardt Jr. to make the leap into acting and portray Scuba Steve...

How about Mark Consuelos as the son? Kind of a dark, swarthy little hottie...plus he can pull off younger characters...

Commando Nikki and Beatlebum? I'd have to say Hillary Duff and Amanda Bynes.

Em could be played by that little boy that was in 'Stepmom.' Just kidding...I think that the little girl that played in 'Hope Floats' is just sassy enough.

Scruffy? Tommy Chong, or Boomhauer on 'King of the Hill"
Pigtails could be played by my Aunt Tammy. They both have that big, cornfed country girl look about them.

Gotta keep working on SIL. I can't think of anyone I hate enough to cast in that role. Brother and Waldo, too...That family will be the real challenge..



(This was fun...It also made me think about my trip report. I made the mistake of watching some of "Biodome" today, and I think that Pauly Shore and Stephen Baldwin would have made GREAT Matt and Eric's...)

SORRY, DELSWIFE... BUT THAT WOMAN JUST MAKES ME LAUGH NO MATTER WHAT SHE SAYS! I think everyone feels the same about you... I always thought she was kinda cute! I certainly don't think you are ditzy! Very clever...

Now as for the SIL (maybe soon to be X-SIL!) we would have to put some serious thought into that!

How about Angelica Huston for SIL?? She does 'nasty' very well! Or, if it should be someone a bit younger in the role, I hear Monica Lewinsky wants to break into acting....?

I think we have the inspiration for a sitcom here. It could be based on the movie Groundhog Day , but everyday the Delswife gang would wake up at Disney World and start a new day of hilarity! I certainly would watch it!
