Who will be watching Emily Maynard the Bachelorette? No Spoilers PLEASE

Off topic... but I was just flipping thru the channels and saw this show on HGTV called Going Yard and found this. I hadn't heard about these 2 getting married.

"Chris and Peyton: Bachelor and Bachelorette, Retired
Let's just say Chris Lambton leads an interesting life. Some might call it charmed. For starters, he was runner-up on the ABC hit series The Bachelorette. Professionally, he gets to pursue his passion as the owner of his own landscaping business in his hometown of Cape Cod, Mass. Then in a romantic turn that Hollywood could scarcely have dreamed up, Chris married Peyton Wright, a former contestant on ABC's The Bachelor. Now, as host of HGTV's Going Yard, Chris transforms plain, drab backyards into spectacular, family-friendly outdoor spaces — with Peyton there to lend a hand."

.....THAT'S who he married?? I remember her.....good for them! :thumbsup2

I don't remember Peyton at all, what season was she one? I remember Chris, what a cutie! They look like a cute couple. :thumbsup2

Wasn't Peyton the one who was left behind when Andy and Tessa flew off together in a helicopter? (on a 2 on 1 date)

Maybe I'm thinking of someone else.

You're right - that was Peyton.

And I believe she was into Jesse on the Bachelor Pad:

So did anyone watch the 'Pad last night? I seriously cannot believe how horrible this group of people is. As much as I wanted Chris to go, it was kind of funny that Erica turned the tables on Michael. In a way he deserved it. I think he thought he could just sit back and pull the strings and skate his way to the top.

Rachel was a little dramatic with her "I can't go on" speech, but Erica left with guns blazing which almost made me like her. Almost. Everything she said was the truth, so you can't blame her for feeling betrayed.

Chris HAS to go next week though. I fear for everyone's safety if he keeps hanging around. I still do not understand his appeal to all the women. He hides in his bed like a baby every single week. I would bet Doug (?) feels vindicated now because he said how immature Chris was all along. Now we're all seeing it. His parents must be so embarrassed. I would kill my kids if any of them acted like this bunch--on TV or in real life.

I watched a little bit of it last night but can't tolerate much more.

Yep...I sat through it again. I have no idea why I keep watching this :rotfl2:

I don't care for how the producers (or whoever) step in and change things up to make sure that the obvious doesn't happen. It was a no brainer who was gong home, but nope, gotta change the rules so that the the obvious doesn't happen. Sigh....oh well, I'm sure I'll be right back there next Monday to see if Chris really goes this time.

My theory is, the producers saw the writing on the wall for Chris, but wanted to keep him around because he makes for good TV. The way they changed things around pretty much assured that Michael would go home instead of Chris. I don't recall them ever letting anyone bring another person into the room when they voted before. You have to give Chris credit for that move, I guess. Getting Michael out of there was a bonus for the producers. It looked way too much like he was heading for the win again, and what fun is that.

i can't quite figure out why Jaclyn is still there. I ALMOST felt sorry for her when Drunken Ed told everyone she didn't mean anything to him and that he was there for the money. I guess you have to give credit to Ed for being honest. Somewhere Jillian Harris is thanking God she dumped him. What a loser.

I think Chris has a scary dark side. It's almost like the calm before he snaps for good. The producers seem to go out looking for women with low self esteem who will fall prey to these kinds of guys. I read somewhere that Emily tweeted she wasn't watching the show, but that she knows Chris is a wonderful person. He sure has her fooled.

Chris IS a looney. i was so confused with his going berserk over Kalon when he was doing the same thing. he's cuckoo for cocoa puffs for sure.

and, i missed a few episodes, but wasn't Rachel with Chris too? and now she's super into Michael? i think these people are all desperate. and i'm amazed that Kalon has pretty much flown under the radar with very little drama around him.

i was laughing about Erica taking Michael. he was acting all innocent--what?

seriously, i lose a few more brain cells every time i watch.

I forgot to mention the funniest part last night.

I loved when Tony and Blakely were dancing to Wes' one and only song "It Don't Come Easy" or whatever it is. Too funny that they used his song, of all people!

Also, I did chuckle when they showed the montage of all the couples snuggling and making out, then show Jaclyn running her fingers through the passed-out Ed's hair! You can't make this stuff up! :rotfl2:
