Who will be watching Emily Maynard the Bachelorette? No Spoilers PLEASE

All the footage of Arie & Emily are just of them kissing.

The footage with Jef show them doing activities together.

It was so heavy handed on the making out that I actually started laughing.

I know that a big part of this show is being able to put aside that if you "win," the person you end up being engaged to was likely making out with someone else the day before. Having said that, I can't remember any other season where there was SO MUCH KISSING with ONE guy. If she doesn't pick Arie, I can't imagine being Jef having to watch all of those make out sessions! :rotfl:

Chris Harrison annoyed me last night and he annoys me often. He thinks hes so hilarious with his remarks and he thinks he knows what all of America wants.

I happen to love Ryan! He just loves to wind people up and he was doing it with Chris (the contestant) last night and it was so funny. Personally I would love to see Ryan as The Bachelor, if nothing else than for the entertainment factor!

there must be more to Arie than we see. Emily talks about how caring he is, which is not really something we've seen him be. of course, they can edit however they want to edit, but they do kiss a lot. if i were Jef, i'd be annoyed.

i wonder how misleading the previews are. i know they have to act torn because it adds drama. i wonder if she's truly conflicted. if she is, then she doesn't need to be engaged to either one of them. that isn't fair to whoever she choses.

I don't know, Arie is still icky to me and a lousy kisser. But maybe you're right, there is more to him, especially if Emily seems to like him. She appears to be a decent judge of character.

My opinion is that she does know who she wants. That preview is being spun like she's torn but my guess is she told Chris that she knows which guy is the one and she's ready. That's why she feels like she's betraying them both because she knows who she wants so on one hand, the guy she wants is suffering because he doesn't know yet and the other guy thinks he still has a shot. Damn you ABC for making me put too much thought into this show.:lmao:

you FORGOT the most important part - she said your "RENTED helicopter"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BEST line of the night!!!:thumbsup2

Chris Harrison annoyed me last night and he annoys me often. He thinks hes so hilarious with his remarks and he thinks he knows what all of America wants.

I happen to love Ryan! He just loves to wind people up and he was doing it with Chris (the contestant) last night and it was so funny. Personally I would love to see Ryan as The Bachelor, if nothing else than for the entertainment factor!

Love Ryan! What a complete behind he is and PROUD OF IT! :lmao: My son asked if I'd date a guy like him and I said, I HAVE, many many MANY times! :rotfl2:

Did she get another b**b job??? She looks even bigger. :earseek:

First thing I said when those ****s made it to the stage about a minute before she did. My son lost interest in his tablet when she came out, and THAT'S a BIG thing!! :lmao:

i seriously died. DIED.

i am SO glad she called him on his lies. what an idiot.

i agree that Chris still seems angry. he seemed mad at just about everyone. and if the previews for Bachelor Pad are true (what are the chances?), he seems like a bigger jerk than i thought he was.

i really can't see any of these guys as the next Bachelor. i wish they'd bring in someone new, but i don't see that happening.

I want SEAN as the new bachelor. Last night reminded me of the night they were pushing Ashley during the Women Tell All, they were definitely getting audience feedback from Sean. I would love to see him as the Bachelor.

Ugh, Chris....ugh, ugh, ugh!
Ryan, funny but still wouldn't trust him.
Sean...still my fave!

I turned off the TV when she picked Arie YUK and Jef ICK and sent Sean home. I don't even want to watch the show anymore. Arie looks like he's practicing for a Porn movie and Jef just looks like one of the Little Rascals. :sad2:

I still like HER, though! Southern girl with a Brooklyn mouth, what a combination!! :woohoo:

....that sign SHOULD have said: "I'm so BEAUTIFUL" .....:lmao:

Guys like him remind me of that song - "I feel pretty" :rotfl2:

:lmao:Don't hate me because I'm beautiful!

Here are Ryan's top 10 quotes from this season:

10. Ryan [in his apron, on baking date with Emily]: "Let's hurry up and finish these cookies so that I can look like a man again."

9. Ryan: "There's definitely an edge to me. The Mean Man comes out on the football field. I miss him sometimes."

8. Ryan: "God designed you to be a beautiful woman, so be a beautiful woman. You know what I mean?"

7. Ryan: "Every man should believe his wife is a trophy."

6. Ryan: "I can come off somewhat arrogant but I think that it's just me being truthful."

5. Ryan: "The world it's our pearl. No it's not, it's our oyster. See, I always see the good in things. I'm already thinking there's a pearl in there. There is a pearl in there. You're the pearl."

4. Ryan: “I'm definitely trouble.”

3. Ryan: "She is definitely going to be somebody's trophy wife and I'm pretty sure that I've got a good shot at that being mine."

2. Ryan: "You've been to the gym. I like your butt as it's been in the gym."

1. Ryan [on the idea of Emily gaining weight]: "I would still love you I just might not love on you as much."

:crazy2:

I can think of a few more -

"I'm not here to impress you, but to make an impression upon you."

"To whom much is given, much is required."

- Ryan Bowers 101 :teacher:

I'm ready!:thumbsup2 I'm watching Jeopardy first though, I don't want people to question my intelligence for watching this trash.;)

What?! You mean you didn't glean anything from the wisdom and knowledge that is Oracle Ryan??!! Who's been blessed with so many worldly gifts??!! :worship: :rotfl2:

Really? I thought the part where Sean said he couldn't find any reason why Emily didn't choose him means he's still clueless about the way he is willing to be in relationships for 3 years and sidestep the whole marriage conversations because he's willing to stay in something for that long when he's NOT fully in love with a woman.

I think NOW that his relationship with Emily is over, he's able to sing a different tune, like how he was so ready to commit & get married, but in actuality, his body language and his inability to EASILY tell Emily that he loved her, meant he was still a withholding person. It's easy to say what one would have done, now that the pressure is off and things are over.

::yes::

I also thought he brought up an interesting point about being the heartbreaker in his past two relationships, but never the heart broken. Even his mom admitted that this new heart break experience is good for him... :scratchin

Who are some of these guys? There is about 3 that I've never seen before. :confused3

Almost the entire back row! I was like who, where, what... :confused3

:Weeeeeeelllllll.......maybe he and Emily have a little sumptin sumptin going on. Afterall, it promises to be the most dramatic ending ever!!

I think she is not going to pick anyone. It looked like she couldnt decide on the commercial. What do you guys think?

Chris H: “You feel like at this point you're betraying both of them...

....because you're running off with ME - HEEHEEHEE!!!"
:stir: :car:

No Dude, you didn't "come off angry." You were angry. :p

I really don't like Chris. He still comes across as unstable to me. And full of himself. The fact he signed on for Bachelor Pad says it all.

Chris is flat scary. He has this creepy, quiet anger...like he's fixing to go postal on someone. :scared:

A cheap cotton tank does not go with that sequin skirt. :crazy2:

Ugly man-tank...enormous implants...and WHAT in the Sam Hill is that stuff hanging off her sequin skirt? Is that - Moccasin fringe?!

Hideous. Somebody needs to FIRE her stylist. :scared1:

This to me just shows that they are editing Ari to be a certain way. It's like they are trying to make the final 2 as one being a physical attraction and one as an emotional attraction. I also still believe that there is much more to Ari then what they show us. :confused3

Idk...I think he's being edited perfectly fine - just like Ryan. :confused3 She's totally attracted to him...he's totally attracted to her...and he left her daughter OUT of his video message. That video was their last chance effort to make an impression before they meet her family. How he managed to slide past Sean on that one.....:sad2:

Emily is a good judge of character...that's why her attraction to Arie, beyond the physical, is shocking me. Like Imzadi put it - her pecker wants desperately to pick Arie. So far I don’t like what I'm seeing or hearing - he sleeps in late, stays out late, fails to acknowledge her daughter during key moments...was ARRESTED twice in one week (2008) for driving on a suspended license and not having a valid registration...

...and here's more...

(***removed the original posting/link which contained a potential spoiler).

...let's just say his ex-girlfriend Cassie Harshman - not to be confused with Cassie Lambert, The Bachelorette producer he also dated  - is trashing him to the media. He supposedly wasn’t the best father figure to her children...and hasn't raced much since 2008. So his only motive for going on the show was for the fame and attention.

Made the mistake of reading the FB page and ran smack dab into a spoiler...

Sean has LOTS of fans over there. .. oh and Kalon has ONE.. some stupid dude who had the nerve to ask why calling a kid "baggage" is considered a bad thing.:lmao: Poor guy, doesn't he realize that 99% of the bachelorette's demographic are WOMEN and he asks THAT question?

Yep, IMZADI, you are prob. right about Sean!

My DH is usually out most of Monday evenings, so I am watching and he just gets to see the end as he walks in. Last night he was home, and he was like, "if Sean is so great, why did she send him home..." I mentioned that when it came down to it and Emily held his feet to the fire, he has been non-committal.

So, then it shows him SAYING a lot of all the right things.
But, not quite, ever saying "I love you, and I want to be here, with you and Ricki, for the rest of my life."

So, then my DH says, "Well, if that is what is going on, and he is 'Mr.Non-committal', why hasn't Chris Harrison kind of called him on it like he did Chris' anger, and Ryan's narcissism, etc..."

I cracked up!!!!
I said, "Well he is probably in talks to be the next bachelor... they can't quite portray and label the next bachelor as noncommital!!!" ;)

I'm sure Chris is a nice guy but he's not THAT nice!! ;)

Tell your DH it's because it's ALL SCRIPTED. :lmao:

Everyone has a persona on this show, and right now Sean is the poor pitiful perfect rejected guy who is being vetted as the next Bach as you said. Last night they seemed to make sure that every guy REMEMBERED their casting, too.

Chris, look MAD

Ryan, look and act cocky

Sean, you've finally been rejected, make America LOVE you.

Kalon, be the VILLAIN, that's what we hired you for.

Casting central! :lmao:

OMG Robin.... you are too funny!!! :rotfl2:

Yep, I had to go back and correct that typo!!!!

And, yep, while some stuff is reality coming thru.... There IS a script!!!!
Hello people!!!!

I think Sean's comment about not finding any reason why Emily didn't choose him just means that there's no smoking gun reason. It's like I always say...you can put two super nice people together, but they just don't belong together, even without a huge obvious reason. And on this show particularly, she's playing the game more than anyone (she, The Bachelorette, as do The Bachelors)...they're basically leading everyone on, and for the most part, letting them go when on the schedule of the show, not when they've realized or decided "no way". Emily could have let him go for the simple reason that she felt more for the other two guys.

I also think that people get comfortable in relationships, and perhaps Sean did in his 3 year relationship with that other girl, and it may just be an issue of not feeling ready to get married. My DH and I were together for 5+ years. Early on, he was adamant that he did NOT want kids (we were 20), and I was adamant that I did...there was nothing that I wanted more. But I didn't want them right then, and we had a relationship, and yeah, we were comfortable in that relationship. FF 5 years later, he had matured, and we wanted the same things. He was as devastated as I was when I miscarried, and embraced fatherhood (and now grandfatherhood...oh, geez, he's just mush over her!) wholeheartedly. I questioned (as did my close friends) if I should even bother staying with him in the beginning. What I'm very long-windedly saying is that you may feel a certain way, or have questions, but not really know the answer until the end. Perhaps Sean was comfortable in his relationship, wasn't ready, thought the time might come...whatever.

And I think there is a very fine line on this show with regard to when to say "I love you", on air, when you know it's not going to be returned, and you're one of several who are having a relationship with the same person...relationships that you pretty much have no idea how they're panning out? Yes, it's the theme of the show to fall in love and fall in love fast, but I'd be much more impressed with someone who shares a well thought out "I love you" than someone who seems to want to get it in (meaning the "I love you"...ahem) first.

I'm sure someone will quote exactly what he said in two or 3 sentences to prove why I'm totally wrong LOL but I don't think the whole basis of his long relationship is really decipherable in black and white based on that.
Sean kept shaking his head while he was talking about waiting & wanting the girl of his life to show up. It was subtle, but it was there.
Well, having watched a lot of "famous" body analysts (with conflicting opinions) on InSession, particularly during the Casey Anthony trial, personally I take that kind of analysis with a grain of salt. JMHO
This to me just shows that they are editing Ari to be a certain way. It's like they are trying to make the final 2 as one being a physical attraction and one as an emotional attraction. I also still believe that there is much more to Ari then what they show us. :confused3
::yes:: The PTB on this show are master manipulators. We see it every week, after having watched the preview the week before. They edit at the end of the season, when they know the outcome and they know they've got footage to create a version of the story that will leave people wondering and questioning week to week. There's far more that we DON'T see. Based on what I've seen, I'd say that Jef is the obvious shoe in. Which makes me think she picks Arie. Which is exactly how they want us to be thinking until the finale. It's ALL about the editing.
I want SEAN as the new bachelor. Last night reminded me of the night they were pushing Ashley during the Women Tell All, they were definitely getting audience feedback from Sean. I would love to see him as the Bachelor.

I would love to see Sean as The Bachelor because I would love to see Sean...again and again and again. But except for Emily, I mostly end up not liking the recycled Bachelor/ette.

I get such a kick out of Emily being such a sweet girl and letting loose with a few "words" here and there. I mean, sometimes a few well placed **** and **** just fit the situation, no matter who you are.

OMG Robin.... you are too funny!!! :rotfl2:

Yep, I had to go back and correct that typo!!!!

And, yep, while some stuff is reality coming thru.... There IS a script!!!!
Hello people!!!!

Somehow I can't imagine Christ coming to the table to tell everyone there is ONLY ONE ROSE LEFT.. :lmao: :rolleyes1

i do agree that a lot is scripted and they're playing parts. i'm sure their personalities lend to their part. i'm sure Kalon is probably a jerk, but he's also playing it up--nobody is that stupid.

Finally just finished watching The Men Tell All.

Here's another great line besides the one about the rented helicopter!
Doug to Chris: "Can you put that thing away? Bad day to go commando." :lmao:

I didn't really find Sean attractive during the show (again, all I saw was Anthony Michael Hall), but he looked really good on TMTA. :thumbsup2

Ryan is a complete tool, but he IS pretty funny. He also looks better with the beard (it hides his no-neck). I wish it were him, John/Wolf and Stevie going on Bachelor Pad. They're all so funny!

Oh yeah, Chris Harrison is totally in love with Emily. :lovestruc
