Who went in late November or early Dec last year?

I am trying to get an idea of discounts and I found the discounts available but not how much $ or % off (like package discounts for general public) but nothing tells me HOW much.

Trying not to be nosey but with our family of 6 we dont have many options. We could do the cabins but I dont feel like walking a mile to catch the bus or whatever and $50 a day for a cart isnt too appealing either. We did get a rate of a deluxe room at the WL for $480 but I dont want to get my heart set on it if the discount wont be decent. Calling AAA shortly to get a rate with them.

I wonder how much you save on AAA packages for the various seasons?

On Deluxe is it 20% off the room only portion of the cost or 20% off the whole package or am I completely wrong?

I got a rate of $6139 for 6 of us, 8d/7n WL deluxe (with the concierge not by choice) for 5 day plus waterpark with the dining. That was with CRO.

AAA package was sold out though. She gave me an alternative to 2 rooms elsewhere and it was the cabins. That was $4007 for the same thing, except 7 day plus waterpark. I got a rate of $4301 with WDW direct. So almost $300 off, not quite 10% for this particular package

We went Nov. 29-Dec. 5 last year and stayed at the Contemporary. A few months before we left a discount came up, and we were able to save about $300 on the room.

The AAA discount is only ever on the room portion. You can get a package with AAA, but only the room portion is actually discounted.
