Who was your DVC Guide

We cannot say enough good things about our guide, Michelle MacAllister ::yes:: She was friendly, professional, and ALWAYS on top of everything. She was wonderful with questions and information, and our whole DVC purchase went very smoothly! We cannot WAIT till our first visit home!!!! :Pinkbounc

We had LInda Smit. She was wonderful. It took us 4 years after meeting Linda for me to convince my DH to join! I would always call her with a thousand questions every year and tell her we were considering it. She had all the patience in the world. We finally did it and then did 2 add-ons through her.

Ours was Glenn Wilson. No complaints here. He was very helpful with our purchase and then our add on. Even though he's a Bucceneers Fan I won't hold that against him. :teeth:

Another new name....

We had Brandon Duke, real nice guy......was patient as We took about a year and a half to pull the trigger. Don't regret it and would recommend him to anyone. I'm in sales for a living and know a GREAT salesperson when I meet one.

We have Dave Kreitzer. Have'nt seen his name mentioned yet.

We had Brian Sullivan as our guide. Havent seen him listed. he was well prepared and very knowledgeable. Great to work with.

Brian is our guide, too. You are the only other person I have seen mention him.

Christy

Haven't seen Roland's name mentioned yet...Roland Lammers was our guide.....Loved him! Wonderful young man to work with.

Carol

we also have veronica. so far she has been very nice. we only bought last weekend

No wonder our guide has been so great...seems we're her only clients...thanks Betty Prikryl. She has been terrific to work with and able to get me what I need.

My guide is Susan Shell. When I went on vacation in HH Susan told me that my original guide left she assigned herself to me. She usually returns my calls right away.

We have Toni Diehl. Very nice, personable, patient, and not at all pushy. I'd definitely recommend him. (Yes, he's a "he," even though he spells his name with an "i" rather than a "y.")

:D

Another name not mentioned......Diane Henry.

Actually, we took the tour back in 2001 with her. She was nice enough. We subsequently went the resale route and own 2 different contracts. She was assigned as our guide.

Do you think that was a coincidence, or does Disney cross reference new owners via resale to see if they toured, and with whom?

I don't think we've spoken with Diane since we took the tour. What do you all use your guides for? We haven't been interested in add-ons and I've become DVC saavy enough that I have never had a points or usage related question. Other than that, what do you talk to your guides about? You seem to love yours so much I feel like I'm missing out on something!!!

We had Gib McCain, he was really nice to work with.

we have Megan Moriarty. She'll always call to see how thing are going whenever we visit WDW.:D

We also have Megan. I will be calling her in a week to make my first ressie as a DVC Member. :wave2:

Our original guide was Ellen Cohen-Sullivan, Ellen was just GREAT. She left DVC to work selling homes at Celebration. We still keep in touch with Ellen, even after 11+ years. Our 1st add-on was with Betty Pleasant, I don't know what happened to her, we were switched to Jim McCoy, Jim is also a GREAT guide. We have done the last 3 add-ons with Jim. On our last trip we stopped by the sales center at SSR, they called Jim and we finally got to meet him. GREAT guy, if you need a guide give him a call.

Another one for Bobby Corsello!! He was sick last time we were at wdw and still called us to see how our trip was going. Fantastic guide.

Another new name.....Mark Webb. He was assigned as our guide when we made the appointment to visit SSR while at WDW Labor Day week. We've been to enough timeshare presentations...where the people get downright ugly if you don't fall at their feet and buy!...to go in a little on the defensive.

We found Mark to be honest and forthright about the benefits and downside of buying DVC. He left us to our decision and we bought the Monday after we visited.

Same question as another poster....what other services do guides offer besides taking you on the tour and helping with add-ons?

It will probably save you some disappointment if you call MS, rather than your guide, to make reservations!

(Btw, it should be "borders" -- not "boarders" -- in the quotations in your signature. :D )

I didn't see anyone else mention our guide, Scot MacDonald. He has been GREAT!! Our original guide is no longer with the company and we were assigned to Scot. He has answered questions for me and I have gotten info from him for people that I know interested in DVC. He has been very responsive to my questions and concerns(like SAB being refurbished while we are there this Dec.) He called back as soon as he could get any information.

We can't wait to meet him while we are there over Christmas this year!

Humberto Santos. He isn't like I often hear of other DVC guides. Pushy and not patient. His voice mail states not to expect to hear back from him for 48 hours. Would expressly not recommend his services.

I have just the opposite feeling on Humberto. He's our guide and I think he's a great guy. Very profesional and courteous.Gave him a call to see if he could help me out with something and he went out of his way to do it for us and it had nothing to do with a sale.Very cool in my book!:)
