Who was there over the weekend?

Anyone there over this past Columbus day weekend? We're thinking of going next year. How was the weather? How were the crowds? Can you compare it to summer crowds or week after Thanksgiving crowds?

I wasn't there but from what I'm reading, it was much busier than it's been! The 3-day weekend (plus F&W) draws larger crowds than say, last weekend (I was there last weekend and it was not crowded at all).

I was at MK on Saturday. The weather was hot. The crowds were crazy! However, on Tuesday am, there were no crowds at Epcot

I was in the world this past weekend, still am. MK and Epcot has been crowded. I was at MGM in the am and it was crowded but waits were not long. ToT and Rock in Roller coaster was 20 minutes tops. I switched over to MK due to some friends going there and there were lines there. I am hoping it thins out tomorrow and the rest of the week.

I was at MK on saturday and it was VERY crowded.We were there at opening and it was not that bad but by 12:00 the waits were at 70 or 80 minutes for Winnie the Pooh,Peter Pan,Big Thunder Mountain,etc.It would have been fine if we had just gone first thing in the morning and then left for a break.

We were at Animal Kingdom and EPCOT on Saturday.

Animal Kingdom was not crowded at all. Everest stated a 30 minute wait, but it was really 20. Kali River said 10 minutes, but it was a walk on and they were letting people that just got off, turn right back around and get back on. OUr kids rode it 4 times in a row.

EPCOT was a madhouse. We really only went there to get something to eat. Not food and Wine festival, but at China Pavillion fast food. Waits for Soarin and Test Track were over 1 hour. But the worst part was walking around World Showcase. There were so many people there for the food and wine festival it was hard to walk. The lines also looked very long for each of the countries special foods.

I was at MK on Friday, and it was not bad at all! We had a great time and Winnie the Pooh and Peter Pan were only 20 min waits.

I wasn't there the rest of the weekend, but I can't imagine it was as bad as summer.

We are going back next Friday (the girls have no school) so I can let you know if its back to normal for this time if you want.

We were at the MK and Epcot Saturday and it was crazy crowded!

The week leading up to Columbus Day weekend, the crowds were heavier than last year, but still manageable. We went to MK on 10-5 which was a halloween party night, and there were small crowds.

Saturday we spent at MK. Ride wait times for Splash Mountain were in excess of 90 minutes. It was really hot, and crowded.

Walter and I did Food and Wine on Saturday. It was a bit hot, and the lines were a little long - but the food was fantastic. Some kiosks had lines I considered too long to wait on, but very few. My biggest complaint is that half the CM's working Food & Wine don't seem to know what they're doing. Now, while the weather was hot on Saturday, I took my Mom to Mamma Della's at Portofino Bay last night for dinner. The weather was PERFECT. We sat outside, and had what I consider to be a near perfect meal (this restaurant is the best kept secret in Orlando - I'll never understand why it's not packed every night). So, while it can be a bit hot, you're also more likely to find some really nice days. As I'm typing this, it's 78 and not a cloud in the sky. Perfect weather (sorry to rub it in)

We were there Saturday as soon as they opened and we got into Splash and, Thurnder Mountain twice with only 5 minute wait time.
The morning wasn't hectic but when 1pm hit, it did get crowded but to me it was managable and not as bad as the month of July.
It was hot though
