Who wants to be a millionaire question...

DH was telling me that at MGM they have the Who wants to be a millionaire game and now my MIL and I are REALLY excited and DEFINITELY want to try this out. Has anyone done this? We wanted to know if they asked Disney related questions or just regular questions like on TV. We'd like to start studying up now . Any responses would be great!

You should definitely try this--you'll love it. Unfortunately, I'm awful at pushing the right button at the right time even though I'm great at hollering out the answer when it's on TV!

They ask regular questions so it's hard to study up. Just go and enjoy yourselves. I would have done this over and over but my family didn't enjoy it as much as I did.

done it twice at MGM and we love it!! The girls (7 and 4) think they are really on the show and always hope that dh or i make it to the hot seat. If so, you can win hats, pins, shirts and if you go all the way--a disney cruise vacation. If you don't make it to the hot seat (everyone can try out for it through the fastest correct answer thing), you still can particpate by getting the highest overall score and then qualify for the hot seat by having that high score. It was alot of fun and we still use the phrase ----"good show" "good show" that they always say prior to the "game" starting. Put it on your schedule. you will enjoy it.

I have made it into the hotseat 3 times, and I have seen 2 people win the million-point prize (a Disney cruise). Most of the questions are just regular questions like they ask on the TV show. Sometimes the first couple are Disney-related. This attraction can be very addictive .

Everyone in the audience of 600 or so people have the ABCD keypad. The first question is a fastest finger round (like on the Regis version of the show). Sometimes people know it, but sometimes people (even children) guess and make it into the hotseat on that round. Everyone else in the audience plays along during each contestant's game. Every once in a while they will flash the top ten scorers on the big screen. The person who is doing best (based on accuracy and speed) will be the next person into the hotseat unless time runs out for that show.

The trick is to know the answers (of course) and to rapidly start punching the correct button as soon as you know the answer. Don't wait until the keypad lights up or you won't stand a chance.

We did it too ! It was a LOT of fun and you really feel that you are on the show. Well worth it...I just wish I would of made it to the "Hot Seat"..oh well, better luck next time.

last trip a 14 day trip 4 out of 6 of my family made it into the hotseat....including my 6 year old (she got the fastest finger question)..

It is a blast..
