Back from our Dec 4th Western followed by 5 great days at WDW to do a surprise celebration for my parents 50th - they had NO idea and it was great! The cruise was fabulous, but I will say that I'm now a Cat 3 snob - I can't imagine doing something less, at least with a little one in a pack-n-play and another in a bed. I apologize in advance for this predisposition from now on! The suite was awesome and we spent a good deal of time there due to naps. Anna and Cristelle from concierge were wonderful - we had a lot of attention, lots of treats delivered, color pages and crayons on two days, a beautiful petit-fours tray one night, and arcade cards on two nights for both our two kids and another from our party staying next door. So, with an 18-month old who doesn't do arcades, and a 5-year old girl who isn't into it yet, we have 3 arcade cards with most likely $5 worth of credit. Is anyone interested? Please give me a PM and I'll be happy to send.
Also, we did sand pails for the kids from The Perfect Gift and Shirley did a great job! The kids loved them at the two beaches, and they were SO excited to have a present from Mickey!
We heavily used both the Oceaneer's Club AND Flounders.....and Sessions, too (isn't that the Adult Kid's Club?) Did the Bridge Tour, Wine Tasting, and Galley Tour (only a charge for Wine Tasting). Did Palo dinner and Brunch. Across the board, our whole party of 9 thought the food there and at all of the restaurants (including Topsiders and Pluto's) was really fantastic. The sushi rice was a little too sticky, but I'm picky after living in Okinawa. The lamb everywhere was really tender, and we all did the chocolate souffle at Palo. Did 2 spa treatments - and will do it again in two years! We booked 11/17/2006 - something to look forward to! Two days at CC, two days at sea, one day at Cozumel, and one day at Costa Maya.
Our biggest tip is to stay on the ship - I know a lot of people love the ports, but we stayed on board for Key West and Grand Cayman and had the run of the ship and the pools. The beach at Cozumel was the only excursion we did, other than the day at CC.
Drop me a line if the Arcade cards are something you want!

Maybe it is just Disney Magic.
